Sudden vibration/noise from blower motor (VIDEO)
vibration Some fans have a small balance weight on them that can cause serious vibration if they come off. Don't know about Liberty fans but sudden occurrence suggests this. keyless entry?
Gremlins... When you have strange things happen like the door locks acting up, check the grounds methodically. Get a wiring diagram, find them all, and one by one disconnect and clean them. Corroded/dirty grounds cause all types of problems.- libertybob

Autozone has a loaner kit with electric lights that plugs into the wiring harness connector for coils and fires the light when the PCM tells the coil to fire. How to tell what OEM radio was installed in a 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited??
Wiring Harness? Does the standard 02 & 03 wiring harness support all the radios in Gyro's list? Can one simply plug in the most complicated radio into the wiring connector for the base radio and everything works? Is an oem radio upgrade simply plug and play?- libertybob

fobs look on the back of the fobs and you will see a model/fcc id and Canada numbers. If these are the same as the one on your original Jeep fob, they can be programmed to work with your jeep. Coil #5 keeps melting
NGK plugs Check the label in the engine compartment. It will tell you the NGK plug part number that you should be using. If you use other plugs, they can cause excessive heat and thus melted coils. As others have said this is the place to start.- libertybob
