Check the frame that holds the headlamp and goes all the way over to the other lamp. I think it was called headlamp assembly or something like that...I have seen them on ebay for a couple hundred. My jackoff contractor building an addition to my house backed into my KJ in about the same spot...
I just lie on the garage floor and reach up...my arms don't fit thru to reach down.
It's better than my first car...84 Olds Cierra...had to take the front passenger wheel off to open an access door to reach the filter. There was no ability to get anything thicker than a straw thru the top...

I'd just sand off the rust and put on some bedliner from one of the lines above all the way down on both side. Would most likely make the damage disappear from "first glance" and would protect from further scrapes and bruises...LOL

Set-up is great...but I noticed the Members Only section is not members only right now...I click on it in went to post a reply and got the log in required...forgot I wasn't logged in so I couldn't post but I was in the Members only section before I was prompted to log in.
Anything but Fram...actually as a recovering Oldmobile guy (since GM left me hanging) I tend to use ACDelco....but lately I have been usign the NAPA super gold or whatever it is. I believe they are made by either Wix.
