All four window failure, have no clue...

I think you have a bad connection in the power feed. You say you have 12V+ at the fuse, switch, etc, but I am guessing this is unloaded. Put your voltmeter at one of these points, and then hit one of the window switches. If my theory is right, the voltage will drop. Let us know.

    Check engine code help

Strange stuff. Maybe start with checking the connection at the sensor, making sure it's clean and secure.

    Check engine code help

I think there's a good chance it's your coolant temp sensor. Not sure about there being two - I've never had to mess with it on our Libby. What does your temp gauge read after driving for a while? Do you have good heater output? Was the new thermostat OEM or aftermarket?

    Radio Volume Issue

Hard to say...could be in the head unit or external. If there is a short in either a speaker or speaker wire, many aftermarket units will cut the output after sensing the short. I'm not sure if the OEM units do this.

    05 Liberty Renegade Misfire

I used it with good results when I had a Cherokee 4.0 with a misfire.

    05 Liberty Renegade Misfire

This statement kinda caught my attention. "In the woods"...can I assume mostly low RPM driving? These engines can get carboned up easily, which can cause misfires due to valve deposits. They enjoy a little hard running. Since my wife mainly drives ours back and forth to work, once in a while...

    Dexron 6 (six)

First, welcome to the site! I'm assuming this is an automatic trans (not sure what was available in export vehicles). If so, the above posters are correct: only ATF+4 should be used. Any of the brands listed on this link will work just fine: Licensed ATF+4 Brands | Chrysler Using any other...

2004 kj upgraded headlight wiring harness

I've always thought the headlights in our KJ were excellent. If yours are dim, I'd take a voltmeter and track down the voltage drop.

    Trouble Starting

When they checked the battery, did they also check your charging system? As for the problem of starting and then dying, I would start with cleaning the throttle body and idle air control.

    Confused here

Is the CEL on? If so, check the codes. If no codes, I'm gonna guess: IAC and/or throttle body are dirty, or fuel pressure is low. Also, how many miles are on the plugs?

    Free Recall Hitch question

When I called the local dealer to have the recall scheduled, the service manager asked me if I'd also like them to install the wiring for trailer lights. I declined, as I'll do it myself if we ever need to tow with the KJ, but it was a service that he offered.

Does coolant flow through 3.7L intake manifold?

I looked at my FSM, and don't believe there is coolant in the manifold. From what I could tell from the pic in the FSM, it looks like the temp sensor installs right in front of the manifold. I would verify this by looking directly, but our KJ is in the body shop right now.

Is kj the best winter vehicle?

We really like our Libby in the snow. It's never gotten stuck since we've had it.

    The dreaded "No Heat"

It sure sounds that way. I'm sure that if he installs a new OEM 'stat, and bleeds the system well, the problem will be solved.

    Cold weather struggles

I agree with this, or maybe a dirty throttle body.

    The dreaded "No Heat"

That doesn't mean that it opens at the proper temp. If it opens too soon, there won't be much heat. If I was going to all that work, it sure would have gotten a new OEM 'stat. That said, I agree with the guy who said it sounds like air in the system.

    replace ignition actuator help.

I performed this repair a few years ago...wish I could remember the details. I can tell you that it wasn't all that difficult. If you have decent mechanical skill, just remove the column shroud, and you will most likely be able to see what needs to be done.

    Coolant in Oil

A couple of possibilities here: it could have a head gasket leak, as suggested, or it may have a heater core leak(since you can smell coolant inside). Like another poster mentioned, condensation can cause a milky foam in the oil, if the oil is never fully warmed up.
