I just went out and started mine, it's around 32-33 degrees and it ticked right after start up but went away in a few seconds.
is this what you mean?

I'm considering having a local fabrication shop make one for me,
so it will flow with the lines of the jeep as well as protect it. I'm thinking grill gaurd with headlight surrounds as well. maybe even an integrated skid plate . what do you think?:shrug:
how do you like it, where did you get it , how does it mount?

The Goodyear Duratrac's are snow rated, they have that mountain & snowflake symbol on them,
as most of you probably allready know, just because a tire has those symbols on them dosen't mean they will perform in snow. seen it on market place some time ago.
tire manufactures can put that...
I think I may have found the problem. ( I hope)
my tires all had different pressures in them. I put 35 pounds in all four now it rolls quietly.
they are HANCOOK DYNAPRO AS if that makes any difference . I hope thats all it was.
so is this a common problem with the kj's ?
my drivers side rear window goes down fine but is difficult to get back up.
I have to work it up and down a few times to get it to work . sounds like something is binding or slipping. it jerks and shudders when I try to close it.

I have only had my liberty a week and know next to nothing about it.
but i will defiatly check out the things you suggested.
no emergency stops since I've owned it
from between 70kph (45mph) and 90kph (55mph) I can hear and feel a slight vibration but only at those speeds the sound is like a whoom whoom whoom . hard to describe.
edit: almost like an aggressise treaded tire would sound like on pavement, but I have all seasons
