it looks great.
could you post a pic of the ball joint angle with the stock a-arms after the lift please?
I noticed when I changed the front hub on mine, just having the weight off the suspension put the ball joint at quite an angle.
I hope to find out this weekend.
I'm going to use my cousins garage if he's not busy .
no lift but it's better then the driveway this time of year .LOL
sounds like it's comimg from the drivers side, I would say .
if I get it up on four jack stands and put it in 4- high I should be able to hear it from the out side shouldn't I ?
I did that with a front wheel drive car once.
thanks for the quick replys .
I will have to call around and see what it will cost me for the hub assembly . I will post my results soon as I can.
got some prices .
after market . $284.99, $164.99, $200.00
and original mopar ,$478.50
the one for $200.00 is in stock and only 1/2 hour...
I've got a wheel bearing going bad (Ithink) I can hear it howling when I drive down the road.
but when I take a right turn it stops. I have an 06 liberty 4x4 not sure if there is a difference in years or not or 4x4 or 4x2 for that matter.
front wheel bearing
has any one changed a front wheel bearing yet? is there an inner and an outer or is there just one? I think mine is getting bad on the drivers side .
any help is appreciated. I have an 06 sport .
how much did you move the clevis? 3/8of an inch ?
just wondering because I'm in the same boat, I want taller tires witch will fit in back but not in front.
right now regular is at $122.9 here in my area of Nova Scotia $100 bill from empty. with both my KJ and my Dakota :favorites68:
needless to say when it gets to 3/4 of a tank I'm filling back up .it hurts a little less.
starts right away ,idles smooth .miles ? 83000 kms and change.
the boots were in good condition at the time . haven't had a chance to pull the air filter yet ,damn winter and cold winds.
I have to do my maintenence in my driveway since I don't have a garage .
a few friends do, but usualy...
new in November (stock replacement)

Check tire pressures also. You lose some in the cold and that would make a difference.
Dave
will do
just changed the spark plugs about a month ago the mileage was great. then I have noticed this past week my mileage has really gone down hill.
like using a quarter tank of gas to go 85 kms . same roads ,same driver ,same driving habits . haven't noticed any leaks and it starts and runs...
sludge ? me too
I also had the sludge when I boughgt my liberty .
changed to synthetic oil and the pcv valve .
there is still sludge, but a LOT LESS of it . I have also started taking an extra ten to fifteen minutes to let the engine warm up in cold weather .
I'll be due for another oil...
I understand that when the computer senses wheel spin it cuts power to the engine.
but does it cut fuel to the engine or air ?
maybe it's just me, but it seems that if I use the traction control (ESP ) a lot the jeep is harder on gas .
any truth to this or is it my imagination? this is...
this is my first jeep. an 06 liberty bought in november 2010 .
other then the lack of ground clearence I love it .
time for a lift and some taller tires.:icon_twisted:
