So i've been having a problem starting my 05 Kj when its Hot. As in i go drive it for a while park for about 15-20 minutes and then it wont start for about 3-8 trys. I have noticed that the longer it sits the hard it is starting. I have tried fuel stabilizers and fuel additives. Nothing seems to...
What old school item might this be?
My old school item in my system are the capacitor and 4ch amp both 15 years old from my dads original system which some thieves left behind when they took his complete kenwood system from radio to ripping the speakers out and left behind all the off brand...
For best performance run the power lines and your ground to you battery on everything including the amp and EQ.
The HU should be fine off the original power and grounds.
As far as an amp for the subs just buy a cheap one off ebay. I bought a fairly cheap off brand amp and it has lasted almost a...
I tired the seafoam additive in this past tank and so far I'm at about 225miles with a quarter of a tank to go and id say its the best I've seen since 2009. But that's pure highway driving in " Grandma mode" driving at a slow steady pace of 65ish minimal traffic.
If i got 13.5 mpg's in my kj I would cry tears of joy...I haven't seen above 11.5 in a while and my poor mpg's isn't due to cold weather or being heavy on the gas. Its sad that my 86' mustang GT gets double my jeep and it has the 5.0L with 3.73's and its cammed and i drive it rather aggressive...
Tried to figure out a good place to mount my new Ka-bar knife so that it is not "concealed" as the cops around here would not like to stumble upon a ten inch knife hidden under my seat if they ever "took a look around my jeep".
Do not get Nitto Terra Grapplers if you enjoy playing in mud but they are an amazing all weather street tire.
I've been interested in trying a treadwright Guard Dog M/T as to me it just looks like an overly aggressive A/T tire that has potential to do pretty well in light mud.
I started out by removing one of these then installed the valve into bottom of bumper
ran my hose to a T
T'ed it to my pressure gauge
Ran hose over the gas tank to another T and through top or bottom of spring (don't remember which i did) to each air bag
I need to re-seat my air bags I...
I have a set on mine but i have no idea how to post pictures. I have a pressure valve on mine to read how much is in them since I've already popped a set but ill take some pictures tomorrow morning and see If i can get them posted up on here some how.
Don't Worry i still dread the day i have a blow out. I have the Stock tire Spare still Due to I'm not sure if the tire size i run would fit and weight and of course I'm too cheap to buy a spare.
I have 265/65/r16 nittos on stock rims and just the OME lift and with a little fender cuting. They only rub when turned all the way. I'd say have a tire shop try The trie size you want before making your decision. I tried 265/75 when i first had my lift and they rubbed a bit to much.
Well my concern was that i recently pulled out a stuck excursion V10 on some 33's up to both axles buried in some thick clay mud and I only used one hook to do it since we only had one strap. I just looked under my jeep to see everything was fine and i noticed they are connected by three bolts...
Has anybody ever Reinforced their tow hooks on the front? To me they seem rather weak. I was just wondering what all of y'all thought about this. I have put them to use before pulling people out but I've always wondered if they were actually strong enough to with hold against a good yanking from...
