Interior overhead light issue..
Yep that's it. Turn signal, headlight, fogs, dimmer. Mine has done the same thing. All interiors came on all of sudden- KJScott

Interior overhead light issue..
I believe this is because of malfunction with the dimmer control on your multifunction switch. If it does it again twist the dimmer to a lower brightness. The fix is to replace the switch or just use as is but turn it down one click from full brightness- KJScott

PCM fix for 5 speed, engine hesitation??
mainly noticed 1st to 2nd, a slight stumble in the engine. I remember but can't find, it was a TSB for the dealer to do a program update on the PCM. It only affected manual transmission KJs. Something with the fuel pulse or timing. Really any RPM shift does it, but certainly more noticeable...- KJScott

I had stock tires on mine for about 3 weeks when I bought it back in 2006, then grabbed used Moabs and MTRs on ebay. I mean... I guess its not too much of a dog, several years ago it ran side by side with a full size chevy 4wd off the line until mid 3rd gear lol.- KJScott

PCM fix for 5 speed, engine hesitation??
years ago people were talking about the upshift hesitation from the engine when equipped with the 5 speed and 3.7L. The dealer had to reprogram something. Well I never did it back then, and now that I have fresh plugs and the motor runs so much better and smooth power, that upshift hesitation...- KJScott

your April '01 KJ had factory higher springs (when new) than all other years. So your factory springs sagged with age. You bought replacement springs from rockauto, which I am certain, mirror the ride height of later model springs ('03 and up). So right there you are losing what you had when...- KJScott

Well crap! Ordered Napa T stat with seal yesterday from Napa. Mopar pump will be here next week and warranty radiator came today. Epoxy putty on the tank crack today to get me by for another week I hope.- KJScott

New plugs in today. Silicone grease for all connections and air blasted the rest of the engine afterwards. Base on the amount of white feathers blowing around, a bird must have met its demise in the engine bay sometime in the last 12 years- KJScott

you know tjkj... after my crown axle seal troubles, I am going with the MOPAR water pump. I despise doing a job over and over because of junk parts. I'll take the blame when it's my install error but cheap parts are actually very expensive. My time! My local dealer wanted $209 and wouldn't...- KJScott

the seller is a Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealer. I don't mind $130, I'll have to call my local dealer. NAPA new WP I would assume is the next best? As far as ebay in general, you have to research the sellers, I have bought and sold car/ motorcycle, Jeep parts for years with only one bad...- KJScott

Since I will be replacing my radiator very soon, and doing the power steering hoses at the same time I though, 129K miles on original water pump that hasn't failed yet, why not change it out too. ordered a new radiator today, under warranty, maybe this one will last more than 13 months. Stupid plastic end tank crack. Glass reinforced nylon, ooooooo that sounds better than plastic.- KJScott
