    Driver Side Window Problem

Mine was doing the same thing. Took it in and they just lubed the tracks. Seems to be working fine, now.

1st. oil change, dealership or Jiffy Lube?

FWIW, I wouldn't let a Jiffy Lube change the oil in my lawn mower.

    OK, It's not a Liberty!

Look for the new Cummins (without a "g") 2.8 I-4 turbo in the 2010 Liberty.

    New Jeep Break In?'s

True old-fashioned "break-in oil" was a high-parafin non-detergent oil and has not been used for years. As far as switching to Mobil 1 (or any other synthetic) oil is concerned, my feeling is that you'd be spending a lot of money for something which is over-hyped and unneccesary unless you plan...

    First Aid Kit Content

I'd never heard of countries mandating first-aid kits in vehicles, but it doesn't sound like a bad idea. Carrying a small fire-extinguisher would be worth thinking about, too. The contents which you've come up with for your kit looks good. You might want to throw in a pint of Scotch!

Why can't we have a Cummings diesel?

Why can't we have a Cummings diesel?

The 2010 Liberty (and Nitro) will be available with the new Cummins 2.8 I4. The Wrangler and Grand Cherokee (and Dakota) will offer the new Cummins 4.2 V6. And the Dodge Ram 1500 and Durango will have the new Cummins 5.6 V8. Bet on it.

What does everybody pay for their fuel

1 pound per litre? Are you serious? That works out to US$7.91 per US gallon. Good Lord, mate - you need to move to the colonies!

    Ride too bouncy?

I carry 36 lbs in the stock Wrangler HPs on my '07 Limited and it rides and handles just fine. The only time I notice any sort of bounce or shimmy is when it's clearly due to bad pavement.

What does everybody pay for their fuel

I don't believe I've ever seen a station which has a $50 cap on credit card purchases. Seems pretty counter-productive, to me. $3.179/gallon for Shell 87 octane this morning in Columbus, Indiana, by the way.

    Next Liberty Diesel?

No, the new 5.6 V8 is intended for the Ram 1500. The Ram 2500 and 3500 will still have the big in-line 6. From what I've been able to piece together, I'm thinking that the 4.2 V6 will go in the Durango, the Dakota, the Grand Cherokee, and the Wrangler. The 2.8 I4 will go in the Liberty and...

    Next Liberty Diesel?

As I understand it, the joint venture with the Chinese includes a 3.8 and one type of 2.8. An US-compliant version of the 2.8, though, is to be built at the Columbus Engine Plant.
