    MBRP Exhaust Opinions?

Anyone used this exhaust? If so, what did/do you think? My old stock exhaust is looking pretty, uh, crunched? It looks like it's sat on a few rocks in its lifetime and was thinking about throwing on one of the MBRP cat-back systems when I get around to replacing the exhaust. Not really looking...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Took the little lip thing off the front bumper because it's ugly, asks to get ripped off eventually, and most importantly makes changing the oil filter more of a pain than it should be. Oh and drained a half quart out of the pan because it seemed overfilled to me. Whoever changed the oil...

    High mileage club

A new-to-me 02 Sport 4x4 w/ 150k does have a transmission with around 100k miles in it, still runs smooth and strong. In the two months that I've had it I've done spark plugs, cleaned the throttle body and idle control valve, replaced PCV, air filter, flushed the PS system. Have a new cam...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Drove it out to a trailhead for an early morning hike. Even got some mud on it *gasp*

    Cam Sensors: Leak Prone?

Ha! I actually did a variant of this this afternoon! After a drive I used a rag to wipe around the valve cover gasket and then around the cam sensor. It definitely seems like the cam sensor is the culprit. Gonna order up a new one and throw it on.

New to the forum. Looking for advice!

For some MPG data I average about 16MPG mixed in town and highway. If I drive all highway I can MAYBE pull 18-19MPG All stock 2002 KJ 4x4. Does have the LSD and all the off-road package stuff but Idk if that makes a difference. Also has some 245/70/16 tires. I think the 2002s get the worst...

    Cam Sensors: Leak Prone?

Was crawling around under the Jeep today trying to trace down a passenger side oil leak because, hey, quarantine. Anyways, until now I'd always just assumed it was the infamous valve cover gaskets but 1) I don't have the burning oil smell in the engine bay, and 2) from underneath the highest...

    Limited Seat Comfy Factor?

Ah, seat covers, good idea. Maybe some of those giant shaggy imitation sheep's wool ones ;) Also, as to seat bolsters, anyone who designs automotive seats without them is a questionable designer, IMO.

    Limited Seat Comfy Factor?

From the looks of it they seem like a similar design to the sport seats, at least as far as shape goes. These are my Sport seats. Sounds like that Sport seats are universally maligned so far, hahaha. Looks like the Limited seats sound like a much better option if I can find some, according to...

    Limited Seat Comfy Factor?

Limited Drivers: How comfy are the leather/cloth seats in the Limited? I came to my Liberty Sport from a WJ Grand Cherokee and the seats are just not as cushy as the WJ. They're not terrible but on longer drives I yearn for the cushy driving experience of my old Grand Cherokee. I'm...

    Saying Hello to the Community

Ah a CRD and green! I love that green color they came in. Also, those sound like great life decisions :) Funny story, I did do a PS fluid flush (turkey baster method) shortly after I purchased it and when I went to suck out the old fluid I found out someone had already switched it over to...

    Saying Hello to the Community

Thanks! Yeah it's pretty clean! I went through a few rough ones before I found this one and was sold. It has 149k miles. I do plan on doing an OME lift in the future (keep telling myself the stimulus money ISN'T for truck parts, LOL). Wanna find some of the stock wheels to match the spare...

    Saying Hello to the Community

Hey y'all. Long time lurker, recent member. Saying hello. Picked up my new-to-me '02 Liberty Sport about a month or two ago. Before I moved to Montana I had a WJ Grand Cherokee that I loved but left behind. I was originally looking for another WJ out here but had a hell of a time finding one so...

Lift faq: Read before asking questions!

OME would be ideal, really. The price difference between the Bilsteins and the OMEs for the rear isn't too much either. I think I was remembering the bigger price difference between Bilstein and OME for the fronts so just didn't even bother considering going the OME route if Bilsteins could...

Lift faq: Read before asking questions!

Been reading through the forum and have seen some conflicting part #'s for the correct Bilstein's for the rear. This sticky shows a couple different part #'s for Wrangler shocks, I see 185660 being thrown around which is another Wrangler shock. If I understand correctly all of those require...
