    Hood

You can go to Advance Auto Parts or Autozone and get the hood scoops, even JC Whitney carries them. The good ones are made by Lund. They have two sided 3M tape and will be stuck on even in the roughest offroad conditions. I've had some on other cars and they looked good and they won't suck in...

    60,000 mi. maintenance

Thanks for the info. Now I have to check and see if I have the trac-lok rear end, I believe I do, then I have to add the friction modifier, I was told most synthetic lubes already have this. Thanks again

    60,000 mi. maintenance

In the owners manual it has the recomended lube, and how to drain and refill the transfer case. But how much lube goes in the front and rear differentials. I can't find that in the manual. Thanks

    60,000 mi. maintenance

I did all the maintenance on my Liberty for the 60,000 mi. mark. Was wondering if I should change the front and rear differential fluids, and transfer case fluid. I have heard of some people doing this, I would like some more opinions. Should I use the recomended lubes and such listed in the...

    Official Roof Rack/Basket picture thread

The unistrut was a good idea. I didn't think of it. I've been looking for something that would support my 12ft. aluminum Jon boat, I had one of those, Why didn't I think of that moments, when I saw the unistrut.

Bought A Jeep, Maybe A Mistake

The Toyota dealer I bought it from steped up and took care of the problem. It was the rear U-Joints, they replaced them with one that have a grease fitting on them. All the vibrations and weird sounds are gone. Thanks for everyones help and advice.

Bought A Jeep, Maybe A Mistake

I'm taking it to the dealer Wed. warranty will probably expire, mileage wise on the way there. I priced out U-Joints at NAPA. For the rear 20 to 25 dollars each. Front I would have to buy the whole drive shaft. $385.00. I think if the dealer won't help me out, I will be driving it thru the front...

Bought A Jeep, Maybe A Mistake

The Toyota dealership is kinda jerking me around, pretty sure the problem is U-Joints now. I can't find any at Autozone or Advance Auto Parts. Where can I get them from aftermarket. Don't want to pay Jeep dealer prices for parts. Thanks

    Noise while accelerating.

I posted about the same problem with my 05 Liberty, mine has the shudder and a clicking noise. I was told U-Joints also, I have no problem replacing U-Joints, but I can't find them at the local autopart stores.

Bought A Jeep, Maybe A Mistake

Could be a belt in the tire, but they are brand new Michelin Cross Country Tires. I have an appointment to take it in Monday at 7:00 A.M. to the Toyota dealer I bought it from. I will post what they tell me they found. Thanks for all the help and advice

Bought A Jeep, Maybe A Mistake

CV Joints all seem good. I took it to a parking lot and drove in tight circles in forward and reverse, did not hear the telltale clicking noise. I am going to change all the fluids and put plugs in it this weekend. I'll see how stuff looks when I have it jacked up and on stands. Thanks

Bought A Jeep, Maybe A Mistake

The shuddering and clicking mysteriously went away, I wonder how long it sat on the lot. Maybe something was froze up that now un froze. The vibaration still is happening at 50 or 55 mph. I have that isolated to the passenger rear tire/rim. We can't get that one tire to balance. It would show...

Bought A Jeep, Maybe A Mistake

I checked the trans and motor mounts, they are great, hardly any movement. I think this weekend I will pull the drive shaft and look at the U-Joints. Also this noise and shuddering doesn't happen when its in 4 wheel drive just 2 wheel drive. It kinda sounds like the 4 wheel drive is not...

Bought A Jeep, Maybe A Mistake

everything looks good and checks out. Now I'm wondering if it might be a broken motor mount, Does anybody see that causing the problem. If the whole driveline is moving that would cause a vibration and probably a lot of noise. Just throwing that out there as an idea. Thanks

Bought A Jeep, Maybe A Mistake

Thanks for all the replies. I am not sure if I have a limited slip differential, I will check that out. The U Joints seem all right, don't know of any other way to test them other than what I did. I will call Chrysler and see abot the warranty. I have close to 60,000 mi. on it so I will only...

Bought A Jeep, Maybe A Mistake

Was never offered the option of transfering the warranty. Is this something I could call Chrysler on. This was a Toyota dealership and I am not confident that they know anything about Chryslers. They seemed pretty ignorant. Thanks
