    No pics. Just saw it this weekend and at quick glance it looked like it was looking. No, not leaving a puddle, just moist all over and no I can't see any seal leaking. Even if it were leaving drips on the driveway there is no way to tell since the land rover leaks non stop.

    I have a thule spare me rack, got it on sale brand new for like 80 bucks, couldnt pass it up. I had roof racks and hitch racks, just dont like them on SUV's. Since you have a downhill bike you will more than likely need to get a hitch mount with a tray style rack, because of weight.

    Oil Filter Removal Tips?

    i get the filter from the top, turn slowly so it starts to weep oil down the catcher drain thing, keep going untill it basically stops weeping. remove from thread and carefully pull it out. the mess isnt as bad as trying not to get any oil on the aux belt.

    I think all walmart's across the country take recycled oil. I pull my trucks over my drain crock in my driveway and let nature do its thing. Kidding of course.

    Tensioner Pulley self destruction

    Look down at my ac clutch chatter post, it was actually the tensioner. I have 104k miles but it rattled and sounded absolutely horrible. I am not sure about 60k for both but since both have proven history to go bad it isn't that expensive to just do both. I went with a gatorback belt though.

    Just for anyone else who might read. Put new dayco tensioner on tonight, that was it. Belt tension is tight but doesn't seem to be as tight, maybe factory tensioner has a different spread from pulley to pulley, just a smidgen. Thanks for the help, easy 15 min fix.

    Thanks guys. Put a new belt on two weeks ago as preventive maintenance. While the belt was off I checked pulleys for smoothness and any wobble, nothing stuck out. How else can I check to distinguish?

    the normal sound on the AC clutch isnt exactly quiet, but this has gotten loud. Seems the AC clutch chatters when it cycles on. Weird part about this, only makes this chatter when in R or D, if left in park it sounds like it always has. Any ideas, has anyone had this? Clutch going out?

    My spark plugs... ever changed?

    correct ancient and if you ever pop the hood of a rover youd see how ancient. pretty damn easy to wrench on yourself, and usually doesnt take fancy stuff like new age engines. I run cheap rotella t 15w40 oil, and copper plugs. issues come up with you need a genuine part.
