    Missing wheel stud

$55 doesn't sound bad. I've had mine in three times for broken studs (Discount Tire has issues operating airtools). I made them pay for it each time though.

    Synthetic Waxes vs. Carnauba Waxes

I agree for the most part. However, I prefer the look of synthetic. I've used Meguiars and a Pinnacle carnuba. Both seemed to have a duller look to me than Zaino, Pinnacle or NXT synthetics. I always use a claybar first and use a Portercable with the Lake Country foam pads.

    Fuel saving suggestions.

If you don't mind me asking, how fast do you drive? Typically, highway posted speed limits are 65 mph nationwide (except for rural areas which commonly see 75 mph).

    Fuel saving suggestions.

Ditto on the 21 mpg. Mine is coming up on 9 years old (built October 2001) with 140k on the clock, and 21 mpg is what I usually see on the freeway.

    Windsheild wiper opinons

We bought Goodyear Assurance wiper blades at Costco for $8.00. So far have been working great and standing up to the 110+ degree heat here....

Ok, I'd never heard of that kit before. Would it work on an '02? They are the same regulators, right?

    Tire size for 2006 KJ.

True. My Jeep has been retired from trail duty and only serves the purpose of getting me to and from class, so I don't have to worry about airing down like many on here. I wouldn't pay the $12 Discount Tire wants for a nitrogen fillup, but I'll take it when it's free. Some of the research I've...

    Tire size for 2006 KJ.

235/70R16 is what came equipped on my '02 with the towing package. When you can, check out Costco for tires. My BFG's were cheaper than on Tire Rack and includes a great warranty with free nitrogen fills.

    window again

There are many people on here who have resorted to doing it themselves, so I don't think it is very difficult to do if you are at all mechanically inclined. I don't know if I've ever heard of a surefire fix for these, especially since the regulators that Jeep now replaces them with are even...

E3 spark plugs throwing codes! FYI

I had the same experience. I didn't have a CEL illuminate, but my Jeep started running much worse after I put in Bosch Platinum+4's. I also lost about 5 mpg (700 mi trip to California and I averaged 16 mpg highway. I usually get 21 mpg). OEM NGK's or Champions seem to be the best choice for the KJ.

    Before your KJ???

Nothing. It's my first vehicle and it's lasted for two years of high school and three years of college. It's just starting to show its' age now.

    Turtle Wax Results..

Turtle Wax anything is not usually very effective. It's a good worst case scenario wax, but if there's anything else available, I go for it instead. It's not affiliated with JKJ in anyway, but check out the website Autopia. They have great tutorials and assistance for detailing.

    Ryan's Mountain Jeep Find !

That's pretty bizarre. Nice CJ, but if I had to guess one of two things happened there: 1.) Something happened to the owner and no one else knew that was out there. 2.) The owner was into some sketchy business and stuff went down. I don't see how anyone could just leave that out there...

How often Do You Wash/Wax the Jeep?

I used to wash once a week, apply a coat of wax once a month, and do a full multi-step detail every 4 months (claybar, multiple coats of wax, etc). Now that my Jeep has quite honestly hit basic transportation status, I wash it once a month and do a coat of Ice Wax or something to that end. My...

    Air bag Light coming on

I'd also like to know the source of this. Mine (also an '02) has this problem. If you turn it off and turn it back on, does the light go away?
