2004 Fog Bulb # - Reading Dim and Yellow!
There is an article over on Huseyins' Jeep Projects site about how to modify type 9005 bulbs to go in the older style fog lights - basically you just trim one tab so that they fit in the opening and you are good to go. I've had some 9005s in my fogs for over a year and they are great!- Corwyyn

Ran a set of those for a couple of years before I got my BFGs. Traction was good on dry, never had much of a chance to check the wet traction here in the desert. My only problem was they seemed to wear down rather quickly, I think I had not quite 30k on them when I got rid of them, quite a bit...- Corwyyn

That's also what you need to do on a KJ - extend all breathers as high as possible to offset the chance of water getting in where it shouldn't be. And yes changing fluids would be a good idea if you hadn't done the breather extensions yet.- Corwyyn

Hows your cooling system?
No they do not. My '03 has an external trans cooler and the original radiator did not have any built-in cooling for the trans. The new radiator I just put in it does have the connections for the internal trans cooler but I'm not planning on doing anything with it. Also check your cooling...- Corwyyn

Gear Shift Bulb
Unfortunately you do have to remove the center console to replace the bulb - a half-hour of work to replace a $2 rice-grain bulb :rolleyes: (OK I think it was actually $2 for a pair of them). Wiring melting
Wow that diagram looks familiar... :p I agree with Jeepster, for most situations where you want to be able to turn the lights on at any time tapping the 'sense' (green) wire to the park lamps is a good idea - that way when the BCM turns the lights off the auxiliary lights will go off as well...- Corwyyn
