I hate winter!
Putting salt down lowers the freezing point of water so at temps below 32 deg F (0 deg C) it will cause the snow/ice to melt making for better traction (you're basically just driving thru rainwater at that point). headlight info.
Not sure what the bulbs in the lightbar are, but the fog lights are a 9145 bulb. You can also buy some 9005s, file down one tab on each and they will fit the fog lights if you can't find any 9145s.- Corwyyn

Hmmm, I used a 2x4 but I must not have eaten my spinach that day ;) Anyway like Digger said a little lube makes things much easier - it doesn't take a lot either, just a thin film of silicon or other lubricant will work.- Corwyyn

Old Man Emu front coils

Since the shocks are installed correctly maybe the noise is air being 'pumped' in and out of the boots, perhaps a small hole in one or both of them? Anyone ever stuck a hitch on the front of a KJ?
I'll have to disagree. On the '05+ models the bumper facia sits lower so you have to cut it in the center to clear the receiver stub. He also took out the two recesses for the tow hooks on either side: Now if you were talking about the light brackets that's a whole other story... :confused:- Corwyyn

Yeah, now we're talkin' some serious coin! Sounds like you guys are similar to AZ where it's a tax based on vehicle value, so it adjusts as your value declines. Yes but then he took the original lights and added them under the dash for courtesy lights (if I'm reading his original post correctly). Might want to check this thread on installing an additional overhead light above the rear seat and this one on installing courtesy lights. They might help...- Corwyyn
