2004 Limited 3.7L overheating at idle?

BTW, I have the big shroud and the mechanical fan, so I can't see clearly if the electric fan is working or not... Any ideas? Thanks :)

Parking the KJ, in odd ways.

But if it's just once for a couple of hours... man! I didn't knew that the springs were so fragile... well... I think I'll park the KJ carefully from now on...

Parking the KJ, in odd ways.

C'mon men... from where do you get such statement? If he have proper bumpstops 2 hours will not do any harm... And for the OP: park your jeep as you want, as long as your driveway is like the one on the video ...

    Opinion: On-line store experience

No. I asked specifically for one of the Export P/Ns (55155812AD & 55155813AD... those are the non-motorized). Thanks for the warning :) Cheers! :)

Cool setup... not that I expected otherwise though :D

    Opinion: On-line store experience

Thank you very much! I'm going to order right away :) I've bought several times there... Highly recommended, but they don't have Export headlamp assemblys or Renny lightbars. Thanks anyway :) No problem mate... I have a mailbox in the US (Miami, FL), and then a shipping company send me the items...

    Opinion: On-line store experience

Finally I've found the elusive headlamp assembly for my KJ (left 55155812AD and right 55155813AD) in this site at a semi-reasonable price: USD 175 each Also in here I've found the Renny lightbar in USD 438 and in this site in USD 457. Have someone any experience with those on-line stores...

    3.7 > crd

The only thing I don't like about the CRD is the short-long CV thing... The have better fuel economy, better auto transmission (5-45RFE) and an insane amount of torque at low RPM... I think the 2.8L CRD with VG Turbo it's a badass... All that being said, I still prefer my V6 gasser... Diesel...

    JPOTM Aug: Stuck/carnage

Suddenly I saw a guy fishing in a boat... I yell and make an absolute ridicule and pathetic show to get his attention... Then he return in a 4x4 pick-up truck and tried to unstuck the Jeep towing me with a complete dangerous and unsafe strap... then he got stuck too! So, we start looking for...

    JPOTM Aug: Stuck/carnage

The most frightening thing was I was wheeling alone in the middle of nowhere... without proper equipment and with no comunication at all... This is the way to celebrate a birthday!

    3.73 vs 4.10

Agree with you... Furthermore, since it's a Limited, it can't be 2.4L I4... so if it's a gasser, can't have 4.10 from factory and be Limited at the same time... one or the other: Limited (which means 3.7L and 3.73:1) or 2.4L (which means Base or Sport and 4.10:1) Trying to make it work...

    3.73 vs 4.10

No, I do not suggest change of transmission... I'm only saying that the 45RFE & 3.73 it's the original automatic transmission of a 3.7L 2002 KJ... So, it wouldn't be sooo heretic have a 3.7 with 42RLE, standard tires and 4.10 b/c the resultant numbers aren't too different... capisci? ;)

    3.73 vs 4.10

Beg to differ... If I have the chance to going 4.10:1 I'll do it in a breeze... even with stock tires... Here is hilly terrain and heavy traffic (stop & go million times) is killing my gas... And there isn't so much difference between 3.73 & 45RFE vs 4.10 & 42RLE The ratios for the 42RLE...

It seems that statement only applies to US models... Export models doesn't have it, no matter the year...

    Suspension Travel vs Lockers

Many XJ owners says that a XJ it's better than a KJ because of this: Aside both lifted the same wheel anyway, it's unfair to compare 2 modified vehicles (should be both standard) and even more if the preparation level of them it's so different... But that being said, what is the point...
