    Help!!! Engine light on...again!

    Try moving the coil pack from cylinder 5 to another cylinder and clear the code. If the misfire code moves to another cylinder then you need a new coil pack. Wouldn't hurt to check the plugs either and do a seafoam treatment to clean the engine and fuel injection system.

    Bought our second KJ - Bad news

    I wouldn't put any money into it if it has a warranty. Take it to the dealer tomorrow and see what they say. If its the plugs they probably will charge you because its a maintenance item, but if it turns out to be a coil pack or something more serious they should fix it for no charge.

    Why would you run 245/70 on a frankenlift, you can fit that size on a stock KJ. At least get 245/75. I would get the Grabbers. Tire Rack rates the treadwear on the BFG and the Grabbers the same: BFG Goodrich Grabbers AT2

    tune up kj 2.5 gasoline

    Cold air intake, exhaust, spark plugs and plug wires, synthetic fluids, jet computer chip stage 2 and just keeping up with your regular maintenance. If you want to go all out, not sure if they make a supercharger/turbo setup for it. I'll look into it for you.

    my 02 wont turn over

    Using one hand turn the key to the run position (all the way) and with another hand shift the transmission through all the gears, if the engine start, it means it is your Transmission Range Solenoid. Not a cheap part, it is build into the solenoid pack which is mounted on your valve body inside...

    my 02 wont turn over

    I had a problem with my KJ not starting.....turned out to be the Transmission Range Solenoid. Does it crank, or do you turn the key and nothing happens?

    Chrome Tow Hooks

    Most people that have chrome tow hooks, don't use them. They just add them for bling. But if you want them, your going to have get the factory black ones chromed.

    I've used both 75w90 and 80w90 in both front and rear diffs with no problems. For the most part, 80w90 is dino oil and 75w90 is syn.
