I plan on lifting it but I cant decide. Somewhere between a cheap Rough Country spacer lift and 32's or the $1600 Super Lift Kit and 33's. First mod will be a FlowMaster, gotta let that V8 growl.
2006 4.7L w/545RFE NV245 QTII 4X4 version. Big torquey beast with a pillbox for a rear window. I love it. The stock stereo was better than my Liberty aftermarket one.

Wait, I am confused. Are you saying that you align your Jeep every 2K miles or asking if 2K miles post lift is too long to wait.
If it is the first part and you align every couple thousand miles you are wasting money.
If you waited 2K miles after a lift to align then you wasted a couple...

If you have trimmed your bumper you don't need to take of the cover. I just used a ratchet strap to pull the cover out a bit, removed the cap and installed the tow hook.
