Rebuild practical?
I get that, believe me, I do. I hate half-assing a job as much as the next guy, but money is a big problem. If I could spend $500 and cut her oil use down by half, and have it last another 30k I would call it a win.- mmc757

Nice. I live right on Plain hill rd so pretty much right next door. Is any machining really necessary? I was kinda thinking just to replace all the software and rings and call it good...In a perfect world, I know I would have a valve job and balancing done, but what if I dont? Ummm No...- mmc757

Can you buy stereos which you can store mp3 files on?

Transmission Fluid Service
I made a big plastic catch to contain the flood when dropping the pan and direct it in a controlled manner into the oil drain pan. Worked like a champ. Also, the pan itself is very cheap (<$20) from the dealer and well worth just getting a new one when you do this. Its easier than cleaning off...- mmc757

Whats your favorite headlight bulb? Sylvanias range from $25 to $50 per set at my local A.Z. Its my kids Jeep and she drives a lot in the middle of the woods with no streetlights and lots of wildlife, but also a decent amount of highway and local driving.- mmc757

Any aftermarket radio that will work with steering wheel controls?
