    Why the Libby?

I really wanted a Wrangler, but with wife and 2 kids and large dog, they just aren't big enough. The Liberty seemed to be the most logical choice for me, something I could wheel, not too expensive and roomy enough for my needs. If I could afford one of the new 4-door Wranglers when they come...

Where to buy fender for Liberty Renegade edition?! HELP!!!

I don't know where to buy them individually but a good deal on four right here: http://jparts.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=15&products_id=80&osCsid=81d77545f17a64297b9c6c19b59a96f8

    Fog lamps

On ebay you can find foglights that fit your opening and come with the wiring harness and switch for half the price of the Mopar ones. I don't have them but I am considering these as an alternative. Tow hooks are pretty much overpriced no matter where you get them. (just a piece of steel!)

    Liberty Owners Carry On

Good Ol Toilet Paper is a must have. City or on the trail. If you have to make an emergency stop at McDonald's or a gas station, you at least have some nice soft T.P. O:)

    Fuel Consumption

Re: 35psi? No one's Libby gets better mileage than a CRV PERIOD! Let's just let this rumor die right now, I'm tired or reading this. We bought the KJ's for reason's other than the mileage, or I would have bought a CRV. Your mileage is particularly low though, and I would suggest a major...

    My Liberty concept

I'm glad you prefaced that with "I'm really bored" or you'd probably get shot down pretty hard. :-s I don't like it, but it's cool you did it anyway. When I'm bored at 12:00 am I go to the bar or Filliberto's or sit here like I am now. edit: sorry I didn't see the original post was at 8 or 9 pm

    Work Commutes

I have almost the exact same commute (when reporting to main office, and not in the field). About 12 miles to First St. in Tempe. I lived in that neighborhood for 15 years so cruising campus is old hat. \:D/ [-X

Buying a used KJ....Would you buy an 02, 03 or 04 and why?

Personally, I'd get an early 03 3.7L V6 with the 45RFE tranny, the disc brakes all around, tow package, and select trac transfer case. Any other options you find are just gravy. =P~ I almost forgot to mention if you find the off road group also, you save yourself some upgrades.

Is there any real benfit of a spare tire cover?

Tire covers are very important for the spare. Two weeks without one here in Arizona and there is already visible damage to the spare. #-o
