cool- thanx for the reply. i am already in the process od ordering a set of 4.10 ratios for the axles.
however- i cant find any retailer who sells a complete off the shelf product. only 4 the cherokee. any ideas?
hello.
I am kind of starting to think about a lowering my transfer ratio. from 2.72 to something lower like 1:4.0-for crawling purposes. however i cant find anything for the liberty. although i guess they have the same transfer box as the cherokee.
any ideas?
Hello.
Just wanted to share my thoughts regarding the powertrax no slip locker.
I had it installed in my 2006 liberty V6 2 days ago.
1. got a 2006-2007 liberty? the locker will not fit without a fight and a grinder. as it turns out- it says on the box that the no slip locking diff will fit...
yeah. as if we don't have enough sh## to deal with. although its not as bad as what one might think. what you see on the news ain't exactly what i have in my back yard. its like living in idaho and watching the news about NY and saying: "well-its my country but its not happening over here"...
we have the same severe lift laws- and i went to an OME dealer to check out the catalogue- it says 1.5 inch lift on the 927 springs for the liberty (well- we go by the metric system but you get the idea). of course- i didnt buy mine over here- i got the complete package fron JBA. anyway-...
NO-i do not. time to have a word with the shop. they are jeep specialists and should have known better.
btw-on the front and rear-do i need an isolator on top AND on the bottom of the spring?
btw- im not an engineer - but i did the math- with an engineer......(who works for jeep. we have a jeep factory over here. you learn something new every day).
OME springs- give 1.5 inches of lift
top plate ( X2 for suspension geometry) - 0.5 inches of lift.
clevis ( X2 again)- 0.75 inches of...
that's why i asked. seems kind of wrong to add those- i guess the OME springs are tailor made for the OME shocks- and adding anything in between will not be good.
however- from all the pictures i have seen and the posts i have been reading - people who use the JBA 3.5 econolift do have rigs...
yes- i do have the top plate and 0.375 clevis lift AND ome springs- the ride comfort is amazing and the craftsmenship is great- but the rear sits exactly 1 inch higher than the front.
I have no spring isolators on my jeep at all- is it my bad? should i have had those installed? even over...
Hello
I have been wheeling the snot out of my 2006 liberty - i have had it for 2 months- one of which has been with my jba lift - its the 3.5 econolift.
on the back its fine - on the front i have the a arms- top plate- OME springs and 0.375 clevis.and it always sits lower than the back. i...
Hello

However i have been told that in severe conditions the ESP still works on low- thus giving some aid with traction. Is it true? cause i havent felt it (i do have other ESP equipped...
