Best way or place to get a spare key?

I am down to 1 now, I just lost a set of keys over the weekend. I believe I have the original numbered key tag somewhere.

Spark Plug Issues - 2006 Liberty

That's how I remember it... The spark isn't that hot. My 2 Neons were the same way. The more expensive the plug, the worse they ran.

    Diff oil change...........

Doesn't look like it. Another way to tell - rainy road, 2WD, 1st gear, rev it up and dump the clutch with the wheels turned. If you do a 180, you have it. That is if the 2.4 can break the wheels loose. (If it can't, another sign of limited slip.) Don't call me if you hit anything or break...

    Bike Rack

I use a 99 Mopar rack for a Grand Cherokee that a friend gave me. It only holds 2 bikes but it is made well. It has a lot of interstate travel on it. A hitch extender gets it past the spare. The cheap racks rust up if you leave them on or keep them outside. Since I have already had a flat...

    Temperature problem

Info off the top of my head... Turning on the AC to check the fan only eliminates the fan motor. The AC overrides the temp sensing circuit. You still have a problem. I just read my Haynes manual on this, not much help, no mention of a relay or temp sensor, just that it uses engine...

    oil aditives

ATF is a no no! Especially in modern engines. You might have gotten away with it because of the thicker oil but since you didn't take apart the engine and find the wiped camshaft and dished lifters, you really don't know. Again, good oil, no additives. Good oil already has additives.

    MPG's with......

Isn't that the optional tire size on the door sticker? (Limited, etc.) Still stock. Me, all stock except K&N drop-in. Worse 14.93 mpg, best 23.7 mpg. Last time I did an overall average calculation since new was in Nov. 2009, 18.22 mpg. I think that was over 67,000 miles. TJKJ, It's...

    oil aditives

TBJ is right. And 3500 miles on the oil is not a problem. Time intervals and driving conditions are bigger factors in oil fatigue. There are so many cars on the road that do this - not even worth worrying about. Some of the noise could be the fuel injection or engine accessories like...

    Woohoo!

They look evenly worn, alignment may not be needed. KJs have a fair fair amount of negative camber so the fronts are going to wear a little funny anyway. Frequent rotations are the way to go. I rotate mine every other oil change. The ride and handling are going to be vastly improved, your...

    Lose weather strip

I have the same problem - was thinking about using 3M weatherstrip adhesive.

ESP/BAS and AIR BAG dash light on after battery went dead.

Either you zapped something while jumping it or... the battery was drained fully and I bet it is not charged fully either. Disconnect the battery, charge it and re-connect it before you do anything else. BTW remove the negative cable first & re-install it last.

    my stock suspension is SHOT

I worked for a ChryPlyDodge dealer from around 76 to 80, the worst KK ever built is not going to be as bad as anything built at the Hamtramck plant at that time. Are there any Plymouth Trail Dusters still running? I did see a Dodge Ramcharger from around that time not too long ago. SUVs...

Why do they call them Soft 8s?

Hmmm. Or could it be for the bigger tire/smaller wheel combo, resulting in a softer ride?

    my stock suspension is SHOT

I would call the zone office about that dealer. Be nice as you complain. Also the 09 KK suspension was improved, I wonder if you could get those parts. In the past I have seen cars sag to one side because of 400 lb. drivers or being parked a lot on the side of a crowned road.
