OK, maybe I should say it never worked for me. You are right, it shouldn't stay in there, I always heard to do it right before an oil change. But unless the motor is old and burning oil I am wary of any sort of additive. P.S. I just noticed your location and posted on your other thread...- moparman

Mileage dropped off pretty bad lately....

ATF in engine oil is not a good thing. I heard this for years as an antidote to tapping lifters in Chrysler engines. First of all it never worked and secondly you are risking oil shear. (losing film strength)- moparman

Finally changed my plugs...
73K miles and they are toast. I expected them to be burnt wide and they were. Not that I have seen this for myself, I'll be quicker about it next time, LOL. 52 minutes start to finish with hand tools. Yeah cylinders 4 & 6 slowed me down some, still pretty easy...- moparman

Worn clutch?
That's low mileage for a clutch replacement. Is all your driving in stop and go traffic? Even then I am suspicious. Last couple of clutches I had to replace would slip at highway speeds in top gear when I accelerated. One way to test the clutch for chatter or slipping - start off in 2nd...- moparman

Faulty 42rle Trans
It must be normal. First time I felt it was on the road test when mine was brand new with 6 miles on it. I was backing it uphill in to a parking spot at the dealer's lot. It seemed more like a u-joint windup/angle thing to me but I guess I was wrong. My instinct told me it wasn't a problem...- moparman

noise when wheels spin in gravel or snow????
It is my feeling that the switch turns off the traction control and reduces the ESP. When I was playing in the snow, I was still getting the ESP braking action when I got way sideways in 4WD high. 4WD low seems to turn it all of the way off but I am not 100% sure. It's been suggested before that valve rotation doesn't happen untill 3000 RPM. Maybe some people drive too easy. I definitely keep the cobwebs out of mine.- moparman

I bought mine based on 2 friends' experiences, both over 100k miles. My one friend finally traded his in with 197K miles, still shiny and running good. He bought another one, a new 2009 KK Limited. My other friend still has hers, over 120K and problem free. (I hope.)- moparman
