    OEM cooling system fan upgrade?

Does the fan have a clutch? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_clutch

    Sea Foam

OK, maybe I should say it never worked for me. You are right, it shouldn't stay in there, I always heard to do it right before an oil change. But unless the motor is old and burning oil I am wary of any sort of additive. P.S. I just noticed your location and posted on your other thread...

Mileage dropped off pretty bad lately....

Winter blend gas, especially with 10% ethanol will make mpg go down.

    Sea Foam

Water in the carb (or throttle body) will cut carbon deposits, just have to be careful as water does not compress.

    Sea Foam

ATF in engine oil is not a good thing. I heard this for years as an antidote to tapping lifters in Chrysler engines. First of all it never worked and secondly you are risking oil shear. (losing film strength)

    Finally changed my plugs...

    .065 on the old plugs.

    Finally changed my plugs...

NGK G-Power - with the anti-sieze stuff and die-electric grease. Believe it or not, my driveability or mileage did not suffer much. I track MPG with every tank and it's been about the same. It did start to miss a little under load and when cold. No CEL. I wanted to wait until I had a...

    Finally changed my plugs...

73K miles and they are toast. I expected them to be burnt wide and they were. Not that I have seen this for myself, I'll be quicker about it next time, LOL. 52 minutes start to finish with hand tools. Yeah cylinders 4 & 6 slowed me down some, still pretty easy...

    I want Sat. radio

Do a search here and elsewhere. It can be done with your factory head unit.

    2wd to 4wd

Back to the OP, stick with the 2WD. They kick ass in offroad racing too.

    Worn clutch?

That's low mileage for a clutch replacement. Is all your driving in stop and go traffic? Even then I am suspicious. Last couple of clutches I had to replace would slip at highway speeds in top gear when I accelerated. One way to test the clutch for chatter or slipping - start off in 2nd...

    Blower Motor

Easy. Just look at it from the floor up and you will know. Mine was replaced in minutes under the recall. I don't know what years the recall was for.

    Uhaul Hitch

I leave my hitch extension on the bike rack, that's how I know how heavy it is. I haven't towed anything yet.

    Uhaul Hitch

I have to use a hitch extension for my Hidden Hitch and bike rack. So maybe Draw Tite is the way to go. My hitch extension is heavy, solid block of steel.

    Liberty rear end

When I worked for a ChryPlyDodge dealer decades ago much of the warranty work was "padded". Jeep was still American Motors back then.

    Faulty 42rle Trans

It must be normal. First time I felt it was on the road test when mine was brand new with 6 miles on it. I was backing it uphill in to a parking spot at the dealer's lot. It seemed more like a u-joint windup/angle thing to me but I guess I was wrong. My instinct told me it wasn't a problem...

noise when wheels spin in gravel or snow????

It is my feeling that the switch turns off the traction control and reduces the ESP. When I was playing in the snow, I was still getting the ESP braking action when I got way sideways in 4WD high. 4WD low seems to turn it all of the way off but I am not 100% sure. Also I have driven a couple...

    Knocking, power loss, flashing CEL...f**k

It's been suggested before that valve rotation doesn't happen untill 3000 RPM. Maybe some people drive too easy. I definitely keep the cobwebs out of mine.

    Knocking, power loss, flashing CEL...f**k

I bought mine based on 2 friends' experiences, both over 100k miles. My one friend finally traded his in with 197K miles, still shiny and running good. He bought another one, a new 2009 KK Limited. My other friend still has hers, over 120K and problem free. (I hope.)

    Jeep Panda (Patriot/Compass Replacement)

In the second article (newer) it should be noted that those are calender years, not model years.
