    Clean 04 KJ

So after being hounded by my pregnant girlfriend for months, I finally cleaned my KJ from a muddy, sandy disgrace. Who knew she was actually green and not brown?

    Spare Tire holder

I appreciate all the help. I ended up getting a bracket extension which solved the problem perfectly. It is designed mostly for the Wranglers but the way the extension was made it's almost universal and actually fit for the KJ.

The only problem with the tire size on my KJ is sight rubbing on the inside when fully turning in (tight parking spaces for instance) but that's pretty much all i've seen. every once in awhile it'll rub the plastic on the front end where it cones out (behind the front tire) but it doesn't...

    Engine upgrades?

My post wasn't directed at building a race car. It was a suggestion to get you your "power" that you want. It's more physics than anything. The Jeep weighs X amount and can push Y amount, where Y is = to the power:weight ratio. Now remove Z weight from the Jeep, what is the new power:weight...

    Hello! New jeep owner here.

Welcome to the Forums! I actually just had a lift done with some new tires. Most everyone on here will tell you to go with JBA or OME lift kits because they've been tried and tested to work the best, but I went with Skyjacker since it was cheaper by a lot, but also with softer coils then what...

Anybody else have frayed seat belts?

    Spare Tire holder

PTSD > Trust Issues. My bad o_o. I will have to try that and maybe add a spacer or two. I don't have to worry about the bolt patterns to I? I am not mechanically inclined, I work on computers and used to analyzing and finding things out. Lead to some fun and shocking experiences as well lol

    Engine upgrades?

As many simulated racing games, the very FIRST thing I do to anything to make it go faster, are not engine, but transmission upgrades. With what's in the jeep, from what I have read, you would need to pretty much change everything. Changing out the transmission, drive shaft (like going carbon...

    Spare Tire holder

I just went out and took a picture of what I am talking about...above you can see where the back window hits the tire, and you can see at the bottom that the tire is against the bumper... And still for the life of me, I can't get the stupid picture to stay up right >_<

    Spare Tire holder

So I shouldn't worry about getting a new adapter, just rotate it with some washers behind it? I know with the 265, the tire itself is pressed against the bumper on the bottom as well so I will need to move it out quite a bit so that it's not hitting the bumper o_o

That is what I heard about the Bullydog systems. I have no idea about the Superchips one so I have no idea. I guess it will have to be chalked up to researching what happens!

    Spare Tire holder

So with my new tires on my jeep, my spare tire is too "large" for the back. When I try to close the back hatch part, after the swinging door closed, the hatch gets caught on the tire. Is there an extender for the spare tire that is made for the liberty??

Well it's not really a chip, it's the programmer so I can reprogram the computer to the wheels, and add a little power and everything. I should have made that more clear haha. The shop had a special programmer but they got super busy when my jeep was done so I just left and told them I would...

ET 0 rims with stock tires

Not sure but there is a tire conversion calculator that might help out. you can put in the tire sizes and figure out the difference, then use that with the stock settings of the jeep. For instance, when you go to the link it will take you to the tire size calculator, just tab to the tire size...

No, I answered more in depth on my greetings page but, no one around here in Colorado Springs will really do the regear. They say it is unnecessary for the price over the amount of actual gain to the jeep. A lot of people are actually saying to get the superchips computer and just redo the...

    Greetings!

Yes I will most definatly give a review on them later. So far they have tracked through the sand beautifully since my dirt road is about 4 miles of sand/dirt. Everything has gripped well with only minimal spin due to the loose sand but when it grabbed, everything was ok. At highway speeds I...

265/75/R16's. So far they handles very well on the back roads here coming home. I actually picked up another one from discount tires here because my spare was a measly 215/70 which i wouldn't dare put on haha.
