    Thanks for all the responses everybody. I searched a lot of online Jeep part sites, and found all the protectors I could ever want for Dana 30, Dana 35, and Dana 44 axles, but couldn't find any for the 8 1/4.

    I had my parts manager run the part number that you provided and my cost came out to around $88 for the kit. The single hook that is listed for the KK in the accessory catalog runs $78. Kind of a no brainer.:D

    I have been very meticulous about keeping all of my receipts and maintenance records for my 08 Libby because I have the lifetime powertrain warranty on it. Chrysler will continue to honor it for the original owner as long as the recommended maintenance is completed. If not, it will be voided.

    Yeah no kidding. The warranty cost of a longblock(just the engine alone, no labor) for a Cummins is $8,900. If the customer has to pay for it, it runs about $9,500-$10,000. It's ridiculous.

    You just have to provide your receipts. If you do your own oil changes, save the receipt showing the oil and filter purchase. They aren't extremely strict or picky about what type of receipts or invoices that you provide, just as long as you can show a pattern of maintenance being done...
