Just installed some front tow hooks. Pics inside
Thanks. I also ordered a KJ rear tow hook for my KK. The mounts look almost identical, but if it doesn't bolt right up, I'll just fab a bracket for it. My rear hook is coming from back east, so hopefully I'll get it on by Wednesday or so. I'll post some pics of it as well.- Idaho08KK

Thanks to a fellow member here, I found out that the older KJ mopar tow hook accessory kit would work for the KK as well. I got the kit ordered through my parts department for about $80. With the older kit, you get two hooks. With the new KK tow hook kit, you get one hook for the passenger...- Idaho08KK

New Recall just released. J18, 02-03 KJ upper ball joints.
I posted this in the KJ section as well. I found this posted on the Chrysler site today. The release date on the recall is 4/2010. Here is some of what is on the recall notice- -

I have seen numerous people that take their Jeeps offroad hit the evap canister with rocks, logs, etc., and crack them. The two most common causes are split evap lines and loose gas caps. The service manual says that you can use either RTV or anaerobic sealant to seal the two case halves. I use the anaerobic sealant just because the two halves are aluminum. Who makes rock rails for the KK?
I recently put a set of Mopar step bars on my 08, and decided that I would rather have rock rails. Nothing wrong with the bars, it's just that I paid $450 for them and they are hollow, and I would be extremely p****d off if i caved one in on a rock.
