My 08 KK, From the beginning to now *Lots of Pics!!*

I was looking through some pics I have on my computer, from when I first bought my 08 KK until now. Quite a bit different.:D This was what I eventually wanted to get to. Something along the lines of the Jeep Liberator II This was about 2 days after I bought it. Just skids and M/Ts...

    Chromed out liberty

I can honestly say, without any hesitation, that has to be the most sh*tty looking Libby I have ever seen. That thing should be taken to a wrecking yard, crushed and burned, and the guy that owns it should be banned for life from ever owning another Jeep product. Can you tell I don't like it?:D

    HOW TO: JET Performance Chip

x3. I have been considering one of these, since I now get about 10 mpg around town in my KK, 14-15 mpg on the highway. Damn gas guzzling 3.7L!!

Who makes rock rails for the KK?

Well good news today. I sold my almost new Mopar nerf bars to the owner of my dealership's uncle, who just purchased a 2010 KK today. I also found out from a guy I know who is in the Idaho 4X4 club that a person who lives in my area does a lot of custom fabrication for a lot of Jeep owners in...

No pionting fingers, what oil do you use,and change interval

Both Pennzoil and Quaker State contain a lot of paraffin wax in the base oil they use. This of course causes sludge to build up. Their synthetic oils are fine though, because they use a synthetic base oil. Their dino oils are the ones to worry about. I have resealed literally hundreds of intake...

    Window regulator blues!

Oh brother. I have done more window regulators on KJs than I can count. At least over 200 regulators. And we are a smaller dealership. But hey, it's a sound design Chrysler. No problems whatsoever. Hahahaha:D

New Recall just released. J18, 02-03 KJ upper ball joints.

Sorry to hear that. Anybody that works in a CDJ dealership and repairs vehicle for a living shouldn't take 3-4 hours to complete this repair. If they do, they need to find a new career. The warranty time is 1.7hrs. You can do them in about an hour and a half easy. I should have posted this...

    Skyslider Fix?

Found it- TSB 23-003-10 released in February of 2010. They turned the RRT into a TSB. Here is a small part of the contents describing the symptoms and needed parts- If your vehicle is still under warranty, go to your local dealership and tell them that you have excessive wind noise and that...

    Skyslider Fix?

There was a RRT(Rapid Response Transmittal) released just for this issue. It involved replacing the front bow and reprogramming the control module for the sky slider. I'll do some research and see if I can find an answer for you.

Installed the rear tow hook today. Pics inside

Well, my rear tow hook finally arrived today. It is listed for 2002-2007 KJ, but it looked the same as the hook on the KK. So I ordered it. Turns out I was right. The mount is exactly the same. Here are a few pics. As you can see, I really need to steam clean the bottom of my Jeep.:D

That is the correct kit. The Mopar part number for the kit that I ordered was 82206124, which is the number listed in the link you posted.

    Slow to reverse?

Thanks. I like the feature when I'm going up hill and you have to let of of the gas. You don't roll back at all and you don't have to touch the brake. It is annoying in parking lots though, like the parking lot at my work. It is on an incline.
