3.7L complete throttle bodies and coil packs *PICS*

I have a few parts lying around and I figured I'd see if anybody wanted them. I have them left over from doing motor jobs a few months back. First up is a complete throttle body from a 2004 KJ 3.7L, with TPS and IAC motor. This one needs to be disassembled and cleaned. $22 shipped to you...

The Official KK gas mileage thread!!

These were my two latest fillups, and at least half of both were freeway driving. I will generally get 10-11 mpg when I don't leave town, and just make 1-2 mile trips the whole tank.:(

    2010 Liberty Factory Tow Package

My KK is an 08 with an auto trans. No factory tow package. Mine has an electric fan, power steering cooler, trans cooler, and no mechanical fan. I have not seen a mechanical fan yet on any KKs, even with the factory tow package. They don't even list a HD cooling kit in the Mopar accessory...

The Official KK gas mileage thread!!

I recently posted quite a few posts in another thread regarding fuel mileage with the KK. We kinda hijacked the thread.:D So, I decided why not start a thread where everybody can post the mileage they are getting with their KK. Maybe also post the type of driving you mainly do, such as town...

Out playing in the mud yesterday

I was out at the local mudhole yesterday messing around. We just had a couple of really good rain storms. The mudhole in one of the pics was the largest one out there. There were some other good sized ones to the left side as well. The good news is that I made several passes with ease...

Out wheelin 6 miles from my house 4/25/10

This is a spot about 6 miles from my house that is fun to take the Libby. It has lots of hills and trails to follow. Here are some pics of me going up and down some hills. The hills are a lot steeper than they look in these pics. You can see the moon in front of the left...

    HOW TO: JET Performance Chip

I only have 4,700 on my KK now, so the plugs are definitely not worn out.:D I installed NGK Iridium plugs when it was brand new. I also have a K&N drop in air filter. Those are the only two things that I have changed with the motor.

    New to Forum

Welcome to the forum. Lots of great people and info to be found here. As stated, if you are going to lift your KJ, runs some 245/75R16 MT/Rs. I have some Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs on my 08, and they are great. The feature I really liked about them is that they are a load range E, 10 ply tire...

    HOW TO: JET Performance Chip

My dad laughs at me about it. He has a 2007 Ram 1500 with a 5.7L hemi, and gets better mileage than me. The only factors that I can figure that attribute to such bad mileage are the tires, and added accessories. The tires are 245/75R16, Load range E, and are very heavy. They are much...

    HOW TO: JET Performance Chip

Well, I just filled up again after taking a couple of trips. I drove 227 miles, 90% of that freeway at 70mph, and I used 13.9 gallons of fuel. I averaged 16.33 mpg this time, with almost all freeway driving.

    removing transfer case

As stated, there are 6 mounting studs for the t-case. Two are hidden. I use a 9/16" ratcheting stubby wrench to remove them. It makes it pretty easy. You may or may not already know, but I'll list the steps anyways. REMOVAL Shift transfer case into NEUTRAL. Raise vehicle. Remove skid...
