    Should I get new heads?

    The machine shop should have been able to tell if there was a problem. They should have not just decked, but cleaned and checked if needed grinded vavles. Considering they did a decent job I would suspect possible installer error when head job was done.

    Check for a used lower mile motor something under 100K. LKQ is a nation wide company who will also back it up with a warranty. Just a option.

    Factory exhaust is MIA at the moment. Originally had a 40 series flow master on Turn down then went to a 50 series now it has a OEM GTO muffler from my car.     I miss read your first post sorry. More then likely the Jeep hasn't had it's brake fluid serviced regularily this can some times cause build up on the ball valve in the ABS pump.     that explains alot. Had a guy come in with a Cherokee and over heating issue he had no clutch fan I told the guy I had never seen one with out a clutch fan, and he said the dealer told him it wasn't supposed to be there. Even had the shorud for it. I sold him the fan and no more overheating...

    The light doesn't need t be on to pull the codes it saves Data. They just won't repair if it's not a current failure. Sometimes it's a pain dealing with dealers. Free is free though. Mines in at the deale now getting the windows fixed. :)

    Skip the dealer it's to expensive. Yes it will store the fault code in the ABS unit and can be identified with out the light being on. Most of the ABS problems out there same symptoms as what you describe, and usually caused by a wheel bearing. If you can't pull the code your self check the...
