    OME lifts

I just got done with mine, and took it for a drive up the road. I was really surprised on how well it rode. Though I never drove it before the lift, I was expecting a rough ride. Not the case. Girlfriend got home and took it up the road and she even thought the ride was nice. I still need to do...

    OME lifts

I'm not a fan of spacers either, but I thought 7/32 or about .21" would be ok. Will need to check the amount of threads the lug nut still catches before using though. Plus, I think my tires are slightly hitting the sway bar at full lock. These spacers might give me enough to prevent contact...

    OME lifts

I'm not so worried about caster since it's not a wear angle. I usually follow the rule of more caster on the right but that is not always the case. Some of the Chevy trucks and SUVs actually call for more caster on the left. Hunter specs will show this too. Weird I know, but they will pull if...

    OME lifts

I work at Dave Gill Chevrolet. I'm not an "alignment guy" per say, but I am pretty anal about my work. I will take as long as I need to to get the specs exactly where I want them. I do not believe in the "set the toe and let it go" mentality. Most people don't want to spend the time to set them...

    OME lifts

I'm at GM Tech so I'll be doing the repairs and alignment myself. Gonna trailer it to work tomorrow. I'm getting excited to drive this thing. Be nice to get out of my truck as my DD.

    OME lifts

I just drove it up the road really quick, first time I drove it since buying it. Going to throw it on my trailer and take it to work. Found a few things that need fixed. Radiator started leaking, need to replace an axle boot, and align it. I need to go register it too. Hopefully be driving it...

    02 Liberty for $400

I might be interested in the soft 8's. I just measured my tread width and it came to just over 7.5 in. I will go bigger later, using these tires because I already had them. Only thing that sucks is they are 10 ply and heavy (~20lbs heavier than the factory size tire on the liberty wheel)...

    02 Liberty for $400

I have done tons of research on these things lately regarding lifts and tire/wheel combos and ran across this picture. It's kinda hard to tell how where the front wheels sit due to his wheels being turned, but I think you also mentioned that in the post. I have heard if you're running at...

    02 Liberty for $400

Awesome! Thanks man. I really like the way your black one sits. So you are near Columbus? I work in Columbus, tech at a Chevrolet dealership. I really have been trying to find out about a different wheel setup, not to crazy about how the sport wheels will look to far in the wheel wells when...

    02 Liberty for $400

Yes, I am getting lift parts from JBA. Never been into off-road stuff but this might just be a little fun. I feel a little bad though since I am focusing on this rather than getting my Firebird build done by spring. It is what is and I really want this Jeep done in a few weeks so it can be my...
