    Before & After Photos-Rusty's Lift/Grabber AT2s/Roof Bas

The Grabbers are great! Very good on and offroad. The General Tire brand initially scared me due to their history of crappy OEM tires that are on so many cars. But this is the one tire that breaks the mold. After 500 miles and about 10+ hours of off-road use, I would not hesitate to buy them...

    Before & After Photos-Rusty's Lift/Grabber AT2s/Roof Bas

Yeah, there's a 2.5" lift on there. I'm only running 245/70-R16 so there's no problem with rubbing...even on a stock libby.

    Before & After Photos-Rusty's Lift/Grabber AT2s/Roof Bas

I tried to keep the photos similar in angle. Not perfect, but good enough! (And it's pretty obvious that I have a much better camera in the "after" photos.) Front Front Low Front Side Side Back Side Back Back Low Close Up Of The Homemade Bars

    05-07 EVIC Specs

Sweet! Thanks for the info. I'll tear into the wheel wells tonight and see what's there...or not there as the case may be.

    05-07 EVIC Specs

Working temp was more important to me than TPMS, which is why went with an 05+ EVIC. The EVIC I got just happened to have TPMS. I was not actively seeking it.

    05-07 EVIC Specs

Yeah, there seems to be some major confusion as what works and what does not. The EVIC faq that is out there is very dated at this point and does not address the changes in the TPMS infrastructure in the 2005+ Libbys. Once I determine what works and what does not, I am going to write up a...

    05-07 EVIC Specs

Just a followup. 2005 EVIC with TPMS PSI (and Homelink) + Pressure sensors for 2005+ Libbys installed + 2007 Libby Sport = Does not work. The 2002-2004 EVICs use a single receiver to read TPMS thus the need to be trained as to what tire is in what location. 2005+ EVICs use trigger...

Location of TPMS Triggers in the 05-07 Libbys

(Cross posted at the "other" KJ board...) I've installed an EVIC from an '05 onto my 2007. It has the TPMS function. I also had the pressure sensors installed when I had new tires installed last week. Now, all I need is the triggers for the front and right rear wheelwells. Thanks to this...

    BF Goodrich Tires

I just got a set of 245/70 R16 General Grabber AT2s from Tirerack for $83 a piece. Nice tires...stiff sidewall, grabby offroad, stable and quiet onroad. 5 tires delivered to my house-$560. 5 Tires mounted and balanced by my buddy who works at a tire store-$25. BFGs T/As would have run me...

    RUST CHECK

In the desert, where we get 4 inches a rain a year and no snow, there's no need.

    05-07 EVIC Specs

56010520AD-Without TPMS 56010527AD-With TPMS The AD, AE, etc. are revision numbers. An OTIS/EVIC will not be able to read the temp if it is less than '04 and you have an '04+ Liberty.

    Stock Libby, trail run.

Stock Badyears + Wet Rocks = Stuck Libby. No skids either...Trail looks good though. A good training ground.

    05-07 EVIC Specs

Well, I installed the '05 EVIC in my '07 tonight. Works great! Since there seems to be a bit of consensus about the EVIC being able to read the TPMS sensors, I ordered a set from makeitmopar.com and they will be installed when I have my BFGs mounted next weekend. I'll post a followup once...

04 GC EVIC in an 06 Liberty?

I thought the problem was that the 04 GCs went to a CAN based ECU while the Liberty stayed with the PCI bus which is why the temp gauge does not work. Am I wrong?

04 GC EVIC in an 06 Liberty?

The only thing that won't work is the temp gauge. All other functions should work fine.

    Lift?...Now Approved!

Mud Terrains are probably the wrong tire to have in an area that sees 4 inches of rain per year! Hehe. They sure look good though. I'm prolly gonna get a set of General AT2 Grabbers for desert running. 33% cheaper than BFGs at 95% of the performance...at least I hope so. Lots of Libby...

    EVIC Bracket Installation

I have an '07 Libby and bought an EVIC and mounting bracket (since 05+ does not have the bracket installed from the factory.) None of the instructions that I have found address the installation of the mounting bracket, only the EVIC. I suppose this is because the instructions were written for...

    Lift?...Now Approved!

Rusty's is now $465 richer. We will have to see how those Rusty's rear shocks work on my Libby. If I have issues after a few thousand miles, I'll buy a set of Ranchos for $100. Now I just need a set of rock rails and some new rubber. Looks like I need to have a garage sale soon....

    Lift?...Now Approved!

Ever since I took my new '07 KJ offroad a few weeks ago (with a friend in a Pre-Runner Tacoma) and quickly learned of the "car-like" clearance of the front skid (as compared to his truck...not even funny), I have been hinting at getting a lift for the Libby to my wife. She's been blowing me off...
