Dear friends, after a long trip back to home, while parking to garage, i found that brake lights including 3rd light, did nott go off until i turn off the ignition. (intermittently i face the same issue today) Turning off the engine and turning the ignition to on position, i lost all brake...
i took my car from chrysler authorized service center. they replaced my rear suspension arms becase of a recall. when my car was in their place, i asked them to replace o rings and teflon made parts inside transmission pan. these are controlling the pressure of atf in low drive and reverse. they...
erratic idling and stalling was related to my broken TPS, throttle position sensor. I replaced that and also my p0171 code disappeared and did not re appear in two months.
TPS was the source of problems not bifuel setup.
when engine is cold, and idle speed is little bit higher than normal, there is absolutely no vibration on reverse. when engine is warm, and when i give more gas there is vibration regardles of engine speed. after few feet movement, it is gone.
i need to check that on my car. idling is being adjusted by IAC, it is a electic motor with a pin inside throttle body. so no need throttle cable during idle.
Dear friends i am curious about such problem/situaiton. Actually i read much about this problem exists on several Jeep model but, when i try to climb a slope in reverse, car vibrates like it has a clutch. Everything is working in correct order. Do you know what can be the reason?
update. no problems so far. give it a try. TPS is cheap. i bought standard motor porducts since i was not able to go oem at that moment. remember to reset computer after installation.
ok it seems solved. here is update. i parked car and it was totally normal. suddenly it started to act weird and stalled. i checked scangauge for TPS absolute value, its was 16. i grab my little wrench and hit to TPS slowly. it was again 12!. i bought aftermarket TPS over ebay, when received i...
can there be a wiring harness or connector related problem? TPS an IAC connector clips are easily broken when you are not carefull. i fitted them with zip ties to throttle body.
here is my update. i checked several variables. i have a scan gauge car computer. it can show throttle position sensor - TPS values in percentage.
now... car is not running ignition is on, it shows tps, map values etc.
tps is %16. i tried to change throttle by my hand. it linearly increasing...
on my previous topic related to p0171 code, it turned out to be unrelated to my erratic idling problem since DTCs won't appear when i only use Gasoline instead of my LPG system. (according to chrysler mechanic)
I am constantly tracking variables with Scangauge, regardles of engine...
I ve been driving this car only on gasoline so, no DTC codes appear.
this can prove that my lean burn problem is only related to bifuel setup and its adjustment.
it seems erratic idling is something different and unrelated to p0171.
let me open a new thread for stalling and erratic idling issue.
