    2007 Jeep Liberty

I really appreciate any help you can offer with the 3d print. I'm not too worried about the material at this point. Just want to make sure I get the model right. I've been working on refining the model some in my down time, but it's not quite ready yet. I've got the dimensions correct now, just...

    2007 Jeep Liberty

:throw: I knew there had to be an easier way than what I did. Hahaha. Oh well, it works... The camera came with the RCA cable and power cable, all for $10  I was apprehensive at first because it was so cheap, but it has good reviews and I figure it's cheap enough that if it does...

    2007 Jeep Liberty

I need to do a write up on this still. Haha. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures as I went along doing it, but I will do my best to describe exactly how I did it. I'll try to put something in writing and post it as a reply.

    2007 Jeep Liberty

Hi Prof, I used the white wire with a grey stripe from the passenger side tail light to power the camera (reverse power wire), and the black wire from the tail light as the ground. I'm not sure if those are the standard factory colors, since my Jeep appears to have had some splicing done in...

    2007 Jeep Liberty

This is the camera that I used : 1/4" CCD Flush Mount Camera It came with a drill to make the hole in the bumper, but be warned this is pretty much a one time use item. The teeth wore out a good bit after I made the hole. The wiring was all long enough to make the connections with ease and no...

    2007 Jeep Liberty

I just finished pushing in the front Teraflex bumpstops with some soap and a 2x4. The old ones were a pain to get out, there was some brown gunk on them when they finally did break free. Had the last owner glued them in there? Dunno . The Ironman springs and shocks are on and I decided to...

    Bump Stop Removal

Ok.... so maybe it's just me... but I can't get the stock bumpstops out. I've pried and pulled and they have moved almost nothing at all. Is there a special trick to this? Or have mine just decided they want to give me a hard time today?

    2007 Jeep Liberty

:roflbow: Seriously? That is awesome! Well I was just looking into the advantages of ABS vs PLA. I guess since the indicators are exposed to the elements and the occasional stone strike, ABS is probably going to hold up better than PLA in the long run. But maybe just testing it out...

Anyone running Bilstein shocks with Ironman Springs?

Ironman HD kit ordered... and now I wait.... lol.

Anyone running Bilstein shocks with Ironman Springs?

The Bilstein shocks were originally more expensive than the Ironman shocks on JBA, they are marked down to $106 for front (originally $154) and $75 rear (originally $136). That's why I thought they might be better, but I'm glad I asked and I was hoping you would chime in seeing as how you have...

    2007 Jeep Liberty

It's good to be home..... just completed a 7,000 mile roadtrip in the KJ that took me through 13 states. Not one issue or hiccup with the Jeep along the way. Suspension upgrades are definitely on my radar to do this month, just ordered the Ironman 1.5" HD kit... and I've got an idea brewing for...

Anyone running Bilstein shocks with Ironman Springs?

I was just browsing the JBA site, looking at suspension. I was originally thinking of doing the Ironman 1.5" HD kit ($813), but then some quick math showed that a set of Bilstein shocks + Ironman HD springs is $698. Is anyone already using this setup? Does that combo ride better than the full...

    Brake line relocation bracket

Is the brake line relocation bracket necessary if I'm doing an Ironman Spring Lift HD kit on my '07 KJ? I'm not adding anything else for more height. Should be about 2 inches of lift (JBA site now says 1.5").

    Ironman lift...2.5 years later

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Ironman setup. I've been looking at this setup on JBA's website for a while. The more info on this setup out here for all of us, the better. After everything I've read, they seem to offer the combination of on-road comfort and off-road ability that I...

    First time Jeep/Chrysler owner

Welcome to the forum. A can of matte black Krylon can do wonders... that's what I did for my front grille and it has held up really well against stone strikes and bugs so far. When it does need retouching, it will be as easy as wash, sand, spray. Alternatively you could also plastidip the...

    Headlight Lens

An oven at 250F for +/- 7 minutes works like a charm.... you just have to remember to take off all the rubber and plastic bits you can first. Avoid any direct contact with metal in the oven (use some parchment paper on a cookie sheet). I didn't take off the white plastic adjustment parts the...

Haha, I was wondering how "cold" all the CAI's for the 3.7 would really be just sitting in a corner of the engine bay. I almost think the air coming through a snorkel would be "colder". At any rate, thanks for the info. Helps to know what not to bother trowing money at.

    2007 Jeep Liberty

Thanks for the comments guys. Snapped some more pictures last night when it was actually dark. Unfortunately, we don't have a large white wall nearby for me to take a good picture of the cutoff. (I actually drove 10+ miles to the nearest Staples to use the side of their building when I was...

Awesome! Thanks. The green has really grown on me. On the KJ it just looks right. I'll definitely be browsing through your link and posts for more info. Cheers

I currently have the stock airbox, and recently replaced the stock air filter with an OEM part when I did an oil change. Is the stock system the best for airflow? I've seen that K&N makes drop in filters for the KJ, are those any better than the OEM filter or not worth spending the extra money...
