HOW TO: Liberty CRD 2.8L Fuel Filter Pics & Changing Ins
My 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited 4x4 CRD has 17,623 miles on the clock as of today and it's time for its 3rd oil change (I've been on about a 5700 to 6000 mile drain interval or so). The fuel filter has a recommended replacement interval of 25k miles, but I really don't want to stretch it that...- gsbrockman

Anything you can do, I can do better... except burn rubber
My liitle CRD has no difficulty at all breaking both rear tires loose when power braked (gotta make sure the anti-spin differential is working properly from time to time). \:D/ Greg- gsbrockman

Bad smell from new Magnaflow
Any chance any of the bubble wrap was still stuck to the muffler anywhere ? There was lots of self-sticking bubble wrap on the muffler and tailpipe---especially around the 3.5" tip on my system. Greg- gsbrockman

Nice tires.....how do the REVO's do in those situations ? I think the wife's CRD has barely hit some loose gravel on occasion......they are great in snow and rain, however. Greg- gsbrockman

Gibson, Borla, or Magnaflow cat back system
I have the Magnaflow #15870 system on my CRD and it's great. Kinda hard to tell if there's a huge difference in economy as of yet, as I installed it January 26th......I'm still in a region where winter blend #2 is around. The fit and finish is great......I only had to tweak one hanger ever so...- gsbrockman

Spark Plugs at 30K?
I'd investigate the throttle body; chances are it could be your culprit. A little throttle body cleaner and an old tooth brush will do wonders ! Greg- gsbrockman

Another TIRE ROTATION
That is indeed a myth in today's day and age......in the early 70's or so, yep, it could have been a problem. Tire technology has come a lonnnnnnnngggggg way. I've rotated the tires on my RWD vehicles as follows for years with the best results : RR to RF LR to LF RF to LR LF to RR At...- gsbrockman

basic tire question for ordering new Liberty
The OEM Wrangler SRA's are hardly junk.....had them on the '02 KJ and at 46k miles they still had 5--6/32nds of tread depth remaining. Never had to re-balance any of the tires but one.....and it required a patch plug due to a nail puncture. Greg- gsbrockman
