    TPMS Question.....

One of the options I had to forego when I took delivery of my dealer-traded CRD vs. the one I most likely was not going to get that was originally ordered was the "enhanced" TPMS. My '05 CRD is equipped with the TPMS, but not the "enhanced" version where each individual tire pressure is...

I would have thought that ongoing production models would have had the newer updated parts available for the assembly line much sooner myself. Greg

    Actually, my MDH of 040718 means my CRD was built : 04 = April 07 = April 7th 18 = Hour 18 The invoice copy I have has an invoice date of 04/08/05. Yours was built : 01 = January 26 = January 26th 16 = Hour 16 Greg

    Turbo Timer for CRD

The turbo is typically cooled thru intake air at idle, as well as the circulation of coolant and engine oil. A fan won't help any. Greg

    Turbo Timer for CRD

Screw the timer...buy gauges instead. You could always ditch the Turbo Timer in place of something really useful...actual gauges. I have a 2003 Dodge RAM 2500 4x4 Crew Cab with the H/O Cummins Turbo Diesel & six speed. I have an AFE Magnum Force Intake w/ProGuard 7 and Torque Tube, EDGE EZ, and...

What to do, what to do? Rim size and Tire/Brand availability

I really kind of doubt DC doing any swap.....with a materials list created by a vehicle order and its associated sales codes, and "just-in-time" delivery of the parts nowadays, it would be tough to get them to do the swap. Seems like it would cause mass confusion on the assembly line... Greg

    Liberty got new shoes today!

Schweeeet pics....out of curiosity, Greatful_Ed, do you know if dealers in the Toledo area get a break on destination charges on KJ's seeing as how the plant is located in Toledo ? Greg

What to do, what to do? Rim size and Tire/Brand availability

No 17's on CRD Models.... Sorry to bust your bubble, but the 17's won't come OE on your Liberty w/CRD option. I, too, had the same question....all CRD's I'd seen on the lots ALL had 16's with the P225/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler ST's in OWL. A call to the Jeep Helpline one night (after my original...

2005 Jeep Liberty Limited 4x4 CRD

The engine block heater and 0W40 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic (factory fill) should help get it going & keep it going. The quality of winterized diesel fuel would be more of an issue in my opinion. Greg

What are you paying for gas???

#2 Diesel is $1.959 around southeastern Kentucky currently....The CRD just now has around 430 miles on the odo; it has 362 miles on the trip odo that I reset every fillup. As of right now, I have about 2 needlewidths past the 1/4 mark on the positive side, at 362 miles. My wife's '02 Liberty...

    Outside White Letters?

Count me in for the the white letters out crowd. My wife's '02 were out as well as the '05. Just ordered 5 new P235/70R16 Dueler A/T REVO's from my Bridgestone/Firestone Rep today... should be here in a week or so. Had them on the '02 for around 3,000 miles and they were great....the Wrangler...
