One of the options I had to forego when I took delivery of my dealer-traded CRD vs. the one I most likely was not going to get that was originally ordered was the "enhanced" TPMS. My '05 CRD is equipped with the TPMS, but not the "enhanced" version where each individual tire pressure is...- gsbrockman

Actually, my MDH of 040718 means my CRD was built : 04 = April 07 = April 7th 18 = Hour 18 The invoice copy I have has an invoice date of 04/08/05. Yours was built : 01 = January 26 = January 26th 16 = Hour 16 Greg- gsbrockman

Turbo Timer for CRD
The turbo is typically cooled thru intake air at idle, as well as the circulation of coolant and engine oil. A fan won't help any. Greg- gsbrockman

Screw the timer...buy gauges instead. You could always ditch the Turbo Timer in place of something really useful...actual gauges. I really kind of doubt DC doing any swap.....with a materials list created by a vehicle order and its associated sales codes, and "just-in-time" delivery of the parts nowadays, it would be tough to get them to do the swap. Seems like it would cause mass confusion on the assembly line... Greg- gsbrockman

2005 Jeep Liberty Limited 4x4 CRD
The engine block heater and 0W40 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic (factory fill) should help get it going & keep it going. The quality of winterized diesel fuel would be more of an issue in my opinion. Greg- gsbrockman

#2 Diesel is $1.959 around southeastern Kentucky currently....The CRD just now has around 430 miles on the odo; it has 362 miles on the trip odo that I reset every fillup. As of right now, I have about 2 needlewidths past the 1/4 mark on the positive side, at 362 miles. My wife's '02 Liberty...- gsbrockman

Outside White Letters?
Count me in for the the white letters out crowd. My wife's '02 were out as well as the '05. Just ordered 5 new P235/70R16 Dueler A/T REVO's from my Bridgestone/Firestone Rep today... should be here in a week or so. Had them on the '02 for around 3,000 miles and they were great....the Wrangler...- gsbrockman
