    Thanks for your help, "I have never seen a pinion break like that from normal driving" Same here, I heard this loud **** and then the car wouldn't move. I was in the right lane of the highway cars beeping at me, finally someone with a truck pushed me off the highway.

    2007 Jeep Liberty, was driving yesterday on highway and the drive shaft fell off. Had it towed to my mechanic and he refused to take it saying it would cost $3000 to $4000 to fix it. He said the car was totaled. I don't disagree, the car is probably worth $2000 or so. I have never had a drive...

    I did, the lock / button goes down but maybe just 1/8" not all of the way.

    took the door panel off & white rubber piece and nothing looked out of place or broken. Took a video but not sure how to attach, Thanks !

    2007 Jeep Liberty, when locking or unlocking the doors the drivers door lock makes a very loud noise and the drivers door does not lock but 3 other doors do lock. I can manually lock drivers door but it will not lock with key fob etc. My research on this says its probably the door lock actuator...
