What did you do to your jeep today?

Ha ha ha!! Sometimes you just gotta stick a nice long wire into the hole and fish out that clog. Had a trickle in my rear end, but fished it out with my irrigation tool, solid squirt now :happy175::winner_third_h4h: Relatively easy once you remove the passenger side inner fender liner...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Rotated tires. Changed oil, 5w30 Castrol GTX HM with a Napa platinum filter. Put new ignition coils in. New windshield washer pump installed. If anyone is ever looking for one at the parts store, that pump is used on a variety of vehicles. They didn't have the windshield washer pump for...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Just went through this whole process of figuring out which one is which. The 7-pin harness itself, without the wiring attached is 56038366AB. The whole wiring harness is 82207248.

    Hey Everyone!!

You've really put the love into her. Didn't realize you were Jeepasaurus Rex! Glad to see you on here too! Always enjoy your photos of your trips. As she sits, how would you say she does while overlanding? Seems like close to the perfect setup for the Liberty.

They'll also tow your trailer if you have their premium membership. EDIT: It's their Premier membership, not premium Another great thing they do is trip interruption. We were delayed 4 days during our cross country road trip, all expenses up to $1500 covered, sans alcohol. AAA IS WORTH EVERY...

    Where to buy ARB

I'm wondering where to purchase an ARB bumper from. Plenty of places selling them, price range from $1000-$1200. I'm in Portland, ME but if a 4x4 shop somewhere in NE sells them at a decent price then I'd make the drive.

    Ceiling Net?

Years ago, I tried to run with this idea. In theory, it's a good idea, but the execution is difficult. We had an extra t-bag(West Marine Link) from our boat and I tried to make it work. First I just used the upper tiedown and the rear oh-shit handles. It sagged so far down that I couldn't...

    Hairline Radiator Leaks

Yea, it's a good idea to go ahead and check the whole system out if you're already gonna be draining the coolant to fix the radiator. Better off finding out now rather than later, because it's easier to just pay for coolant once.

    Hairline Radiator Leaks

I may be wrong, but I think that is a death sentence for your radiator. If you need to extend its life a little then you might be able to patch it with some jb weld for plastic. Just make sure you have some more jb weld and coolant for when the next spot cracks. Also, don't use any coolant...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Certainly was fun! I'm such a noob when it comes to snow. Growing up in the Southeast, then living in the SF Bay Area for the last decade, has left me thinking sandals are an appropriate winter shoe choice. Gonna be a lot of learning for me to do come next winter.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Drove through the same storm in Maine. Made for a slippery ride down the driveway and over the hill to the plowed roads. First time driving on ice like that, ever...in the jeep, and in my life. The Jeep handled it like a champ. See why I call her "Marshmallow"

    Oil in Exhaust

That makes sense. I just finished the last 500mi leg, and the oil is at the same level. I can snap my fingers after swabbing the tailpipe. All seems well.

    Oil in Exhaust

The air filter is clean, and the PCV valve area inside the filler tube looks ok. No gunk inside the filler tube, but the PCV valve could be clogged internally. There is some blue smoke from tailpipe, but it's not thick. When I rev it, the smoke almost completely dissipates, rather than getting...

    Blessing or Curse...

Damn, that is wild. Go buy a lottery ticket, because you're lucky today! Do em both for peace of mind is the right call. I had one break while my partner was driving and had just left the freeway. She was doing 35 instead of 75, still thankful it didn't happen at speed.

    Oil in Exhaust

Yesterday, while I was hooking up the trailer I walked away for 15 minutes, then came back and finished. Today I was walking around the Jeep and trailer to check connections, and do a safety check, when I noticed the stain. I cranked it back up for a bit to see how long it took to start...
