    07 actuator problem

Yeah we pulled the dash bezel first, everything solid and the hissing sound was not from that area. The vacuum hiss appears to be after the T connector/one way valve behind the glove box. Somewhere between that valve and the firewall although wiggling my hand back in there did not yield any...

    07 actuator problem

If disconnected under the hood I would not hear air or vacuum behind the glove box. That said though it does sound like I'm going to have to have "somebody" do a vacuum leak test on that line since I can't physically feel any cuts in it. What are the odds of finding a "shop" that can do this...

    07 actuator problem

Going to start a different thread about the 07 I just bought with a problem with the actuators. As discussed in the other thread the climate selector will not switch the air flow to any direction but the defrost. I pulled the glove box and the recirculation vent is fully closed and will not...

    Fuse box queston

I was trying to track down a problem in an 07 that I have a thread on elsewhere on here and I see it has these fuse holders of some sort for two of the fuses. One is white, the other is yellow and they pull out to disengage but how do you access the "cage" to change the fuse if you need to...

I do have a rattle from the tailgate that I can't find. I checked all the exposed nuts and bolts and they are all tight. Had somebody ride in the cargo area and they swear it is coming from the window lock area but it all appears tight. The arms are shot and news ones are on order so maybe with...

So thought I'd show it off after I had it detailed out. Probably should have taken a picture or two as it sat on the lot but didn't. I really don't think anyone can argue this wasn't a steal at $4,000 out the door (tags/title/dealer fee) and 35,000 miles. Back to the climate control issue I do...

new to jeepkj need fog light help

I hate cutting into any wiring harness though. Would it not make more sense to get the entire donor harness from lights to wherever it plugs in? I assume the front harness only goes back so far before it hits some sort of junction connection so they can use multiple front harnesses but only one...

new to jeepkj need fog light help

Before I start a new thread on this same subject could the OP or anyone else specifically a few things so I know I can go to Pull a Part and get a set of fog lights working on an 07 w/o them? So if I pull the grill I can pull the fog lights and I should pull the entire wiring harness from the...

    LED Headlight Swap

Generally I agree however these do in fact appear to do what they say. The beam pattern nearly matches 9007 stock bulbs. LEDS have come a long way in just a few years when it comes headlight bulbs vs. the basically useless things with giant heatsinks or fans from five years ago. If you look at...

    LED Headlight Swap

Has anyone done an LED swap of the headlights and come up with something that is actually brighter and has a good beam pattern with the stock reflector? I was looking at some videos of the AuxBeam A2 9007 and it would seem to fit the bill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xV10qauaeU...

    Front tow hooks

Check eBay. I got a set of OEM ones from there but they didn't have the funky mounting bolt that is shaped like an M so they are still sitting on the garage floor. Any ideas how I can get those bolts would be helpful.

    No heat

I think you are in the same boat I am although everyone keeps saying heater core. I think the flapper or whatever you want to call it for selecting how much outside air is being allowed inside is not setting correctly even thought I can hear things move in the dash. Mine has always allowed to...

    Tire time again - suggestions

Hard to even find a gravel road around here. That said though I may need to drive into the mountains in a foot of unplowed snow and I have a few places that are unpaved and muddy that I don't want to even flitch in just driving right into them, preferably not going into 4 wheel drive. I was...

    Tire time again - suggestions

I was reading a user review of those at the link below. Driver seemed really happy with them. Pretty aggressive looking. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cooper-discoverer-at3-4s-review.557727/

Game plan is for this to be the around town car as a second for my own Liberty so when I have it serviced I still have something to drive as well as a daily driver for a child. It may take a trip once in awhile on longer distances for a camping trip or such but generally it will be in town. I...

I don't think you can pass up low mileage, used cars when the price is right. Car payments suck, it's an investment that pays no return. A used car at the right price is a different matter entirely.

It has some sort of upgraded seat with a fixed headrest, power driver seat. They are flatter than the 02 but not uncomfortable. It was ordered to be used as a rental car, 1 year in service. Build sheet shows Customer Preferred Package 2TB and Customer Preferred Package 29B. Thought the one was...

I'm going to run back over there tomorrow and put my Bluetooth Code reader on it. Didn't even think about taking it over the weekend. That will show me any existing codes which if the vacuum line is out it should through that code. I'll also do the key ignition trick to pull any codes. It passed...

The little I sat in it the seats were far better than the 02/03 Sport seats which were small and hard. I pulled the build sheet and it looks like it got upgraded to a power front seat so it may in fact have the Limited seats.
