I had a similar problem recently. I had P0456 - small evap leak. These 2 vacuum lines had some etched and cracked spots on them (right where the arrow is pointing).
There was a definite hole in each of those plastic lines. Here is the short section that I cut out of each of them...
Yes. I ran a set of Puma's as the first set of non-stock tires on my KJ. Only ran about 11k miles on them, and then went bigger. They were wearing good and based on the tread depth remaining at that time, I was expecting at least 40-45k miles on the set before they hit the wear indicators...
Never mind. I found that I had the TSB saved as a PDF on my PC. And the dealer did fix my window today. Free of cost. Jeep authorized the replacement of the entire regulator, not just the lift plate per the TSB. WooHoo. Back in service again.
Thanks, but that is not the one I was looking for. I have that letter. I was looking for the thread that had the actual TSB installation instructions and parts list for each window repair.
I know there was a thread around here somewhere that showed the actual pages of the new TSB fix and listed the parts needed to fix the regulator. I have searched high and low and can't seem to find it. I would like to see the actual TSB repair parts list. Can someone point me back to that...
Also, how much toe is your KJ aligned to? The spec for our KJs is 0.04° - 0.16°. Typically, you will have more road wandering when your tires are aligned closest to parallel. I typically ask the alignment shop to set my toe closer to the top of spec (0.16°) to help with this. When I have had...
Oh. I see that now. At first glance, I thought the OD of the nutsert was round, and the inner hole was hex. Could not figure out the purpose... Just a brain fart. Pardon me. :sleepy10:
Not true. It started on the 07 KJ. My owner's manual specs that weight. I have put full synthetic 5W20 oil in my KJ from the first oil change. Not a single problem with it. Even running in 100+ degree temps for months at a time here in Texas, I have never had any issues whatsoever. I have...
Well, I replaced the broken one Monday. Hope to never have that failure again. 4 Wheel Parts said they send all failures to Bilstein. They have been told that they examine every failure to see if it is a design flaw. They were very surprised that they failed. They said they very rarely have...
Can you elaborate on this? What do you mean by zeroing them?
1. bolt center high, even right to left
-or-
2. bolt center low, even right to left
-or-
3. bolt center innermost, even up to down
-or-
4. bolt center outermost, even up to down
I recommend staying away from the Rusty's springs too. I had Rusty's springs on the rear of my KJ for about a year. As has been mentioned several ties already, they are soft springs. Having a stock rate spring in a longer length for a lift actually makes for an even more soft ride. I went...
Driving to the pharmacy this morning, I hear a CLUNK-CLUNK-CLUNK every time I hit any bump in the road. Get home and take a look underneath. Front left shock shaft has failed. These shocks are only about a year old. The shaft broke rigt at the stress concentration point where the shaft...
Sounds like your Springs are shot. The bottoming out is not because of the worn out shocks. It is because the springs are weak and have sagged from the extra weight of the aftermarket bumper and winch. However, I am sure that the shocks are toast by now too. Especially since they have been...
Welcome aboard. I vote trim the front bumper first. Even though you don't need to for clearance. Just looks better without all the lower air-dam stuff.
