    tiresavings.com

I just though I'd throw this out there. This is the cheapest place I've found online for tires with great customer service. This is my second purchase with them. The first was a set(4) of General Grabber AT2's for my '03 Liberty. They were about $400 shipped. I just ordered a set(4) of...

Have you sprayed the sway bar bushing with silicone spray yet?

    flush trans

When I had my old S-10 Blazer, I dropped the pan and started it up with the remote car starter. As soon as I saw the fluid stop coming out, I immediately shut if off with the remote car starter. It worked and never hurt the transmission(that I could tell), but I won't try it with my KJ.

    ESP vs. LSD

If you ask me, adding a limited slip differential to a vehicle with a traction control system is redundant. I don't have any real life experience with the two working together, but I imagine the two could interfere with each other. Most likely one would simply render the other useless. For...

    ThunderbirdJunkie lied.

I ran a carfax on my previous vehicle. There were three previous owners I knew for a fact, but carfax only showed Me and someone else. I emailed them and explained the situation. They gave me my money back.

    I reckon so.

New squeek when going over speedbumps...

I have the same problem on both of our Jeeps. I plan on cleaning up the sway bar bushings this weekend and lubing them up with some silicone spray.

    engine from 02 to a 04

Okay. I'm drawing a blank. Spline count on what? Flywheel bolts to the crank, torque converter bolts to the flywheel, transmission engages with the torque converter. Am I missing something. kopkrab.gif

    Would these speakers work?

You can repair your old speakers pretty easily if you want to. Removed the speaker and place a small bead of clear silicone between the foam surround and the metal speaker housing. Let it dry 24 hours and reinstall. Mine is still working great after six months or so, and there hasn't...

    engine from 02 to a 04

Why won't an '04 3.7 bolt up to a 45RFE? Did Jeep change the bolt pattern the bell housing bolts up to when they went from the 45RFE to the 42RLE?

"does anyone know?" - steering wheel question...

I believe it is just plug-n-play. I've been looking for a used steering wheel for our '06 because I want the audio controls, but I haven't found one cheap enough to justify buying it. Every used steering wheel I've seen cost just as much as buying the parts new, or more. I did see one go...

    Airaid Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer

I hear a lot of people use the term 'back pressure', often followed by "it gives you more low end torque". This isn't accurate. Back pressure doesn't give you more low end torque. It's the scavengering effect of the exhaust that helps with low end torque. This is the same reason there is a...

    Ebay intake

I think it's there for crankcase ventilation. If it were me, I'd find a way to hook it up. You're engine will appreciate it.

    Airaid Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer

Yeah. They tried to fix what wasn't broke and created more problems in the process.

    Upgrading the front Drive Shaft...

I agree with this 100%. I've been sparying my door seals for years. As long as you wipe off the excess, It doesn't leave the rubber wet enough to collect anything.

    Upgrading the front Drive Shaft...

I'd be willing to bet that the life of a CV style driveshaft extends far beyond that of a u-joint style shaft under normal driving conditions, with much less vibration too. However, the u-joint style shaft is cheaper to fix and generally holds up better offroad.

    Fram Filters, junk???

Certainly some interesting feedback and some interesting information. Thanks people. Just out of curiosity, has anybody done a poll on this to see what the perfered filter is?

    2002 Jeep Liberty engine defect?

If it's an '02, I would say go for it. Most of the engine problems associated with the 3.7L are to do with the valve train it seems. The '05-'06's inparticular.

    Fram Filters, junk???

Over the years I've heard a lot of people say they hate Fram oil filters. I've heard horror stories about them, but I've never had one single problem with them. I often wonder if this is a case of people being sheep. Somone heard someone say they didn't like them, so naturally, they don't...
