Rear tailgate rattle
I have looked and looked on forums and on my jeep itself for the source of my noise. Tried adjusting the stopper on the body, adjusting the rear glass mechanism, you name it. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- teeje

Yup. Some have a two pin connector for the cruise buttons, some have 5. 2 pin=no steerig wheel controls 5pin=cruise and steering wheel control Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- teeje

He was referring to the wiring. If you pull cruise from a junker that has the steering wheel control buttons, you can still use the cruise part just not the steering wheel control buttons. They use different clocksprings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- teeje

Buttons stay the same and so do the harnesses behind the airbag. I'm almost positive it's all the same being I grabbed cruise control from an 04 to put on an 02(I think it was an 04) If it's vacuum operated which I'm 90% sure it is, basically plug and play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- teeje

02 KJ 6 CD Changer question
Honestly never thought of that. I upgraded to a single din Bluetooth unit, then a double din unit a week ago. In my opinion, I'd say ditch the 6pack it may cause more of a headache than you think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- teeje

Wrist pin would sound like a loud tick not a knock. Your problem is elsewhere. Post a video of it if you can. I had a brand new engine installed and it had a bad wrist pin. Would've fooled you to think it was a lifter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- teeje

I also wanted to add my steering wheel control buttons now work with my double din radio I installed. Previously I tried a ASWC1 and it wouldn't program. Glad it kept it because now it works. In the event that all of this happened my radio failed so i was able to exchange to a better pioneer...- teeje

This week was a mess. Installed my double din radio last week and it stopped working. So took it back, defective unit. I originally paid 229(price matched as opposed to 279) for my radio. Best Buy ended up upgrading me to a better radio that was 400$ for only 60$ (not complaining) then, my...- teeje
