    Anyone done installations through Tirerack.com?

If that's the same "old joint" .... they wanted $20 to change out a freakin valve stem. They were overpriced on everything, that's why you hardly ever saw me visit when you worked there, went back to were I got treated with good deals.

    Stainless cleaner/polish

I used Mothers polish or Wenol with a tight wound buffing pad. If bad spots, I use the 0000 steel wool then repolish.

    Bump steer

Check the rack bushings, maybe getting worn allowing steering to float enough for you to feel it. Even with little larger tires, shouldn't have issue with bumpsteer....something is lose or worn.

    Retreads?

What casings did they use to give you 10ply?

    Retreads?

There are quite a few that run them, most like them, there are a handful that say they are the worst tires they ever bought. Larrywaller on LOST just got 265/75's M/T's back in Nov, they are tuff looking. I plan on getting 285's for my Tahoe whenever my Toyos wear out. You will get some that...

    Got OME lifted BUT.. (pics)

Well, we need to know exactly what they are telling you is broken. Could be a worn out lower ball joint or something like that that is a wear item, not related to lift parts before we can make suggestions to going back on parts seller.

    home made rear spring isolator

I agree 100% but OP was asking about building something without spending $45 so just replying to his questions.
  18. TAHOE

    home made rear spring isolator

True, but if he wanted "extra" isolators, he could make is own spacers and place them between the rubber and mount, the springs would never touch the new spacer. Only worry I would have if they were just flat is there would be nothing to hold them in during heavy flex unlike the rubbers that...

    Trobow's Lift

You still want my tires for a bit? I will be getting the new ones from Boiler at swap meet on the 23rd, then I will most likely get them installed on the 30/31st ( sat) if you need them in a hurry. We can meet up that Sunday if you want them after that. You wanting to have a "lift party"...

    home made rear spring isolator

There was a guy on here or Lost a few months back who made front spacers like daystar from the hard white plastic that cutting boards are made from. not sure how it worked out. I guess it can be done with right materials and tools. The rough thing about the rears would be to get a decent groove...
