Closest I came was loaning my snatch strap to someone who was using a 10 ft chain. They proceeded to double it while I was moving my jeep, and yanked the guy out, and the guy smashed into his bumper, and ran over my strap. Brand new ARB strap now with about 3 frayed filaments. Lesson...- Boiler

Wow, you blew my mind there. I guess I could have just said that increasing the radius of the tire will decrease force applied to the ground, not torque. Which is why one would regear, to increase force applied at the ground. At least that's what regearing is going to do.- Boiler

Hey everyone!!!
It may look lame, but lifting it first and letting it settle (read: become misaligned) on your old tires keeps your new ones from getting worn quickly / unevenly. A month after lifting align it again and put your new tires on.- Boiler
