    will 245/70r16s fit?!?

If you're getting a lift soon, you really want to wait on the tires if you can. That or bite the bullet, get a loan or a credit card, and do the lift too. 245/70 r16 do not look very good with a lift. They are only 1/4" larger diameter than stock 225/75 r16. They're about 3/4" wider though...

    power inverter

Last one I installed was the 3200 in the link below. Needs 24 volt input and you could probably buy an engine for less money. $2400 http://dimensions.sensata.com/24Volt_military_2600_3200.html

    Stuck

The road looks pretty clear to me. Tires make a big difference though. I rode 50 miles in slush then 50 miles in packed snow and was able to maintain about 40-45 in the packed snow with my blizzaks. Very grippy even on snow. Luckily I was all by myself out there as it was late. Had other...

So what did I do wrong?

"Some" posted when they had a similar new lift and thought they could offer some comparison, not because they thought they knew everything. As far as asking about adjusting his alignment himself, I thought it was pretty clear that I was asking the more experienced folk if he could / should do it.

Finally got my new tires on

Thanks all, I like them. Yeah I like them too. My wife says they look like I lost my hubcaps. And yep, I"ll need more snow, or at least some frozen slush. I'm suprised I did it actually...Just kind of noticed it in the pic and thought, hey, maybe I should limit the personal info online....

Finally got my new tires on

Spent the day putting my tires on, pounding pinch welds, trimming, etc. The soft 8's and moderately sharp cornered Blizzaks really have a large corner sweep. I've still got some work to do in the front well to get full turn with no rubbing. Here they are.

So what did I do wrong?

You dropped 2 inches from first day settling? Did it drop fast like something was bound keeping it down or not assembled correctly? 22 is where I sat with HD springs, 3/8" top plate, and no clevis. I can't see 3/8" of clevis give you another 2 inches, especially while using medium springs...

    Storing mounted off-season tires

Dry and out of the sun are key I think. And clean. This weekend I'm going to build a tire rack in the back of my shed, and put my summers away for the winter after cleaning them. Basically it will be two 2x6's about 18" apart going across the back of the shed, about 1 foot from the back...

BEEP! BEEEEEP! Horn keeps going off! Any ideas?

Unless it is some alien relay, it should fail to where the horn does not work. Worst case is it would fail in a manner that the horn would be on constantly, not intermittent. There has got to be a short or bad contact somewhere. I wouldn't have thought about the fob, as good of a place as any...
