Infant car seats for Liberty
I know that the local babies-r-us will let you "try them" now that was nearly 6 years ago we found a rear facing seat that would fit behind the passenger seat in a KJ with me sitting in it now I am only 5'10" and 180# but still it worked You may want to try them first- J-Thompson

No I will not go easy This is the type of person who's wife rear ended mine '02 Suburban 150k miles brand new tires skid marks showed that the tires were hopping why? Bad shocks! My wife's VW with good shocks and tires held its ground other wise she would have gotten T-boned as well...- J-Thompson

Sorry man you are not real bright You are willing to let your kid drive ,not just ride, in a car with suspension that is 99.99% in poor condition I modified the factory roll cage in my TJ because I felt it was not up to the task of protecting my family You are looking for tires ,important...- J-Thompson

What load range are you using?
I ran LR E in the old style MTR's on the KJ Switched to LR C in an AT and the only difference was in noise not in ride quality With an LR E you can comfortably air down to 12 psi this is assuming 245/75 on OE sized wheel- J-Thompson

Hmmm, Duratrac sidewall FAIL!
I have seen all the major brands fail due to roots Ripping side walls I ripped the lugs from a SS LTB but have seen the exact same Tire get a hole through the side wall from roots Now by far the "weakest" tires I have seen was a BFG MT The old style ,got a thorn through the side wall- J-Thompson

wtf........no key for my spare tire lug
I have welded nuts to those stupid "lock lugs" for people hammering a socket on works as long as it is not Over tight or rusted on- J-Thompson

Traction Control on KJ
Lockers = best off road mod hands down Put one in the rear and your rig will be twice as capable Any one who tells you they are "not needed and you should see what your rig can do" has not seen what a Jeep with lockers can do- J-Thompson

Call it what you want The others are body on frame the Jeeps other than wrangler are not If calling it something else makes you feel good do it but I have seen the "uniframe" get big dents in it but the frame ,well not so much- J-Thompson

Backspacing question!
Don't waste money on either Wheels or 245/70's if you plan to lift Best fit/look for a lifted KJ 245/75 R16's on stock alum. wheels gives a "stock" look until you park next to a stock KJ ,then you notice The $250+ saved is nearly 1/2 the cost of a Detroit locker which will give you more ability...- J-Thompson

Newbie tire/wheel size question
Easy answer is that no they will not fit Unless you want to lift and put on spacers But that is $1500 or so for small tires?- J-Thompson
