Napa not selling remanned CV axles

Need to replace my passenger side CV, called Napa and they don't sell the reman ones anymore, just new. Has anyone used the new ones recently? I know they used to be the wrong length or something. I could try another store to get a reman one, but would prefer to use my warranty on the Napa reman...

Is this too much intermediate shaft play?

Trying to diagnose a vibration and popping noise I'm getting.

What did you do to your jeep today?

x2. Get the Toyo Open Country AT3s. I love mine on the Renegade. Dead quiet and great traction. Good price. What more could you want? I'd also look at Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws.

    Bad CV axle?

Hmmm.... that's hard to say. I haven't paid attention at low speeds. When just driving, the vibration is only there when I'm on the gas.

    Bad CV axle?

Get this grinding/pop noise when making low speed turns, left or right, seems to change based on how the suspension is compressed. At speed going straight I hear a little grumble and feel a little vibration in the gas pedal, but at this point not really noticeable unless you're looking for it...

There's not really a KJ replacement

Nope, they don't have any of that.

    Yet another cooling system thread

Sounds like a radiator issue if the T stat is of good quality and is in the right way. Proper coolant level should be to the middle of the tank, not to the top.

    Wheel bearing brands?

OEM ones are made by SKF I believe. My OEM ones lasted till 200k, got SKF ones to replace them. No issues, easy job. Probably took me 45 mins to do both using hand tools.

There's not really a KJ replacement

I like my Renegade TH as a modern replacement for the KJ. No, it's not as hardcore, but off road mine did everything at the Badlands the KJ does, sure the KJ would do more, but the Rene didn't disappoint at all. Gets almost double the MPG too and rides great on road, faster too. Good aftermarket...

    Water pump life not great

I had a rebuilt NAPA one that lasted about 70k and 5 or 6 years. I put a Mopar one on to replace it.

Pop noise from rear at full flex - LCAs?

The other idea I have is worn spring isolators... still on the OEM ones at 215k! Wondering if they're worn to the point they're letting the coil move around too much. I know at full flex I can go to the flexed out wheel and move the coil a bit. Haven't lost one yet tho!

Pop noise from rear at full flex - LCAs?

Noticed over the past few months I've had a pop/knock from the rear at full flex. Bit of background, this spring I replaced the trilink with a junkyard mopar one - went bad in a week. Was tired of messing with it, so let my trusted shop put in a "nice" (one with the blue boot on the ball joint)...

Mine lasted about 120k or 130k. I just replaced it when doing the CVs.

Overheating after longer drives and highway speed

220 is pretty normal I think, by straight up do you mean the gauge is in the middle?

What did you do to your jeep today?

Think that even holds true for something like the Rene? Only 12k on it now but probably will change at 30k.

    Tri-Link - Common undercarriage rattles?

The only rattle I've had from the rear of mine was the flipper glass latch. Sprayed some WD40 in it and it shut up right away.
