Rear Drum Brakes-HELP!
Short story, Been fighting these drum brakes on my 02. Big girl is hard to stop. Did complete rear brakes myself. New drums, shoes & internal springs, clips, adjusters. Did not do wheel cylinders as there were no leaks. So...my work sucked and didn't have the knowledge needed I guess. Next...- Mshack

I know this is a dumb thing to ask, when I took my caliper off, someone put 1 clip in backwards. Check the clips that the pads slide on. Last guy that I bought it from missed that little step.- Mshack

So today, on my mail route, drove 104 miles with new frt end. WHAT A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. I did measure b4 from I did the springs and shocks. 19" from center to bottom edge of the fender. Wife did not notice the height difference, at all, so tonight I pointed it out and still clueless. Lol...- Mshack

Yeah...I couldn't remember the firing order...but the one under the reservoir...they designed the overflow hose to release right into that back plug...new design does not do that. It releases to the back of the jug now, with no hose. Thought it was an interesting observation when I changed mine...- Mshack

It's finally finished!! All new suspension and emu springs and bilstien shocks installed, frt only! Also some power stop z36 brakes. But Wow wow wow wow wow It's LOOKS Awesome, and drives better than I could have ever expected. Took it to the tire shop and had then align it. Drove home as...- Mshack

What did you do to your jeep today?
Jus a quick update Good news is the bolts were not rusted into the sleeves, on the rt side. Have it completely torn down. Working on left side now, shock and spring are out, sway bar link removed, and both ball joint nuts loose. Still got plenty more to do.- Mshack

Update! Ran hard yesterday and not an ounce of fluid missing from fill container. So that lil bitty crack in the upper hose WAS leaking. Glad to be part of this forum. I would have never known about proper antifreeze-coolant and would have never check the hoses for a pin hole. Thanks y'all for...- Mshack

When you say correctly install the bolts? I can mess that up? Or do ya mean correctly lined up? With the marks. Cause I can ***** up a bolt install...and not even know I am ******** it up- Mshack

I pretty much got the "not installed right" That's why I shared that pic. KNEW you would appreciate that one! So those bolts in the bottom control arm...never done these before and there are adjusting cam looking things on both. ANYTHING I should need to know about putting those in when I put...- Mshack

Got the antifreeze-coolant replaced after work and church...old man worn smooth out. Took the top radiator hose off cause looked like a pin hole leak had been spraying a spot on the power steering pump. And I was correct. Small crack on bottom side of the hose.
