PCV is in the same place on the 02-04s. Your hose fell off at some point and it's sucking unfiltered air in from the engine bay (and your crankcase isn't being ventilated.)
My antenna is in the same place. I grounded it to the spare tire carrier with a short wire. The Cobra 75WXST is nice because it is just a handset. I mounted the small radio box inside the flip-down panel underneath the steering wheel and fed the power wires through the firewall directly to...
I feel bad for you guys in Jersey- I learned all about that lunacy when I lived in NYC. I filled up in Jersey once. Never did it again. That can't-pump-your-own-gas thing is one of the dumbest laws I've ever heard of.
Maybe it sounds weird, but I LIKE pumping my gas. I'm paying for...
Be careful though, an older PCV valve can break when you try to remove it from the filler spout, forcing you to buy a new PCV valve (at least they're cheap.)
Not that I've ever done that, of course. :D
Not a good price, for the same reason $200 was a bad price for used springs/shocks in another thread.
It's a used part that wasn't that good to begin with. Given the expense of installing a new diff, I'd recommend going with a better LSD or locker. A search on here will give you some great...
Clicking could mean you have 4WD engaged when you shouldn't be (i.e. not obeying the "PART TIME" phraseology) or some kind of mechanical issue with your transfer case.
If you are 100% convinced that it isn't driveline binding from engaging 4WD on dry roads, put it on jackstands and see if one...
@ "Cheap is expensive" I agree. I ran on my factory suspension until I could afford the upgrade I really wanted. I was impatient at times, but it was worth the wait.
$200 is too much. If the guy is upgrading his suspension, he should be happy to get anything at all for his old parts. I...
Nice pictures! Reminds me to actually take pictures next time I go wheeling. Even with my lift, I probably wouldn't have gone up that trail either. My weenie tires and lack of skids would be foolhardy up on those rocks!
Re-built my front sway bar (new end links and bushings.) Behold: No more creaking when it flexes over bumps!
I won't make the mistake of greasing it again. The old bushings were eaten up!
We have it nice, but not as nice as we used to. Gas went up $0.50 in California last week, and despite rumors that it would go back down, it's stayed up around $4.60/gal(US). My bet is we've seen the last of sub- $4.00 gas out here. I think $5.00 gas will be the norm in the not-too-distant...
