What did you do to your jeep today?
Went wheeling with friends. I'm simply amazed at what my Jeep can do with just some basic tires and an OME suspension! Tons of fun. Got stuck once... got out with the help of good friends (quick hood push to back out) and thankfully didn't need a tow. Learned I need tow points front AND rear...- sevenhelmet

NP 231 Transfer Cable Problem
I just got back from a wheeling trip where I couldn't shift out of 4LO, and my bushing was just GONE. The cable and control arm on the case are just fine though. Weird. Wonder if it came off in the underbrush, or if it's been missing for a while. Thanks for the part #, I'm going to pick mine...- sevenhelmet

UPDATE: It was the pilot bearing, which apparently self-destructed after my 230 mile road trip to San Diego. The mechanic found its remains scattered all over the place. Thanks. I just talked to the shop and he said he thinks the transmission is fine based on what he could see on inspecting the clutch. They hadn't dropped it to do the clutch job yet though, so I'm still holding my breath. With some good luck, I might get my Jeep back tomorrow.- sevenhelmet

Tires sticking out from wheelwells - how much is too much?
Soft 8s work fine without a lift- I drove mine that way for 3+ years. You just can't have big tires until she's lifted.- sevenhelmet

Struts Question
I bet you $20 it's your sway bar, not your shocks. You can take the bar off and grease the bushings, but it will just come back in a month or two. Replacing the bushings is the best fix.- sevenhelmet

That's about right. I was running exactly that setup before I got slightly bigger tires, and I think it looks better than stock. Part Time 4wd light
It's the 4WD position "sensor". They always seem to go out eventually. You'll have to replace it, which isn't difficult if you know how to take out your center console. Actual Lift Amount - Lets Compare Fender Heights
My OME suspension is officially broken in... 20.5" front, 21.5" back, which means an inch to an inch and a half of settling since new. Driver's side is about 0.25" lower (go figure) She still looks good and rides like a champ though :)- sevenhelmet

Wheel Spacer Consequences and Gains?
If you keep regular sized tires (235 70 16) on your Jeep, you can reduce the backspacing on your wheels without issues on a stock suspension.
