Do you have room to hammer your torx bit driver on the stripped screw? If so, you can try using a piece of tin foil. Fold it so you have two or three layers of tin foil thickness. Place the tin foil over the torx screw and hammer the torx bit in. Hopefully the torx bit will bite enough to...
I am surprised you found OME Struts and Rear Shocks. When I recently did our KK's lift in Dec. 2024 OME shocks and struts were unavailable. So I went with Bilstein's instead. So far so good.
I have a question, why are you adding top spacers? Are trying to get a little extra lift in the...
Just a thought. Try starting it with the gear selector in Neutral. If it starts then there may be a safety switch at the shifter that needs adjustment. The key should only crank over the starter if the shifter is in Park or Neutral. Worth a try.

I think it’s more than the just the radio. You may also need a steering wheel with audio control buttons and a microphone to have hands free with factory radio.
I installed an Alpine head unit with a back up camera in my daughter’s 2009 KK. She now enjoys hands free, a USB port to charge her...
I know! And the note was written by the driver of a Silver Liberty too!! Maybe the driver of the Silver Liberty was out of ducks and left a note instead? My daughter has received 4 ducks so far, and has placed the note with the ducks on her dash!

Last night my daughter and I drove her 2009 KK ,AKA Quackers, to her dance lessons. She drives and I sit shotgun since she is not 16 years old yet. I took Quackers around the corner to a sports bar and grill for a beer and to watch a game. Her lesson is 1-1/2 hours long! Can you blame me...
If you still have the old shocks compare the diameter of the upper and lower mounting bushings to the new shocks and make sure they are the same. If not you may need to install a bushing sleeve.

Ok
Make sure the rear spring is sitting on its perch and that the rubber spring isolator is in the correct position . Have someone rock the Jeep back and forth while you are under the Jeep. Maybe you’ll hear the noise and see the problem.

Since the the problems arised during the cold snap, I would suspect the wrong oil grade is in the engine and not 5W-20 as specified and therefore doesn’t have the cold temperature flow properties of 5W-20 oil. If the oil thickened up perhaps it could not flow properly to the hydraulic lifters...
If the hard brake lines look good focus on the rubber flex lines. They aren't designed to be collapsed or kinked. If they are kinked on the inside this would restrict flow causing a hard brake pedal and a caliper that is slow to release. You can verify flow by bleeding the brakes.
good luck...
Did you remove the brake calipers when you did the work? If you didn't, I suspect you kinked or damaged your brake lines. This can happen if the brake lines are stretched and are actually holding up the Steering Knuckle due to the brake calipers still being installed. Especially when you are...
Update
It’s going on two months since I installed my lift and new tires Cooper Discoverer® Road+Trail™ AT tires (235-65R-17). No issues with the suspension what so ever. I sure do love these new tires! Yesterday we got 3-4” of powdery snow and they handle snow great! I took my teenage...
FWIW, I recently replaced my 2009 KK’s LCA’s with Moog units. The Moogs appear to be higher quality than the OEM LCA’s. I like that the ball joints are greasable too! The ride is great!
I agree that you may have a head gasket leak. If you do it can be confirmed by testing for the presence of exhaust gas in the coolant. I have provided a link on how to test your coolant for the presence of exhaust gas.
Good luck!

Ohkk,
Here is a pic of the end result. I replaced the 12V accessory plug with a USB port which connects the IPhone to the stereo and also charges the IPhone. I also installed a back up Camera too. Sorry for the picture quality but it’s night time when I took them.
Cheers!
