I like the thought of extra HP and torque on the 4.0. More the better.... although I'd still rather see a 4.7 V8. Come on Jeep, it will fit!
I also love the KJ, and I'm just glad that it's not getting axed (but then why would it... it's been a very successful Jeep!).

I know the theory on O/D.... it's just a low speeds, it like the motor is lugging, and therefore requires more gas to get it going. It would be like towing a trailer up a hill with O/D on.
I went to Dodge.com and noticed that the top of the line Nitro (R/T) comes with a 4.0 Liter V6 (260 hp/ 265 torque) instead of a 3.7 (210 hp/ 235 torque). I'm surprised that Dodge is not using the 3.8 V6 that is in the '07 Wrangler.
For towing, the 4.0 V6 doesn't tow any more (5,000 lbs...
The spy shots on the '08 Liberty, it shares looks with the Commander, which will help. Don't worry guys, it's won't look this bad. #-o

I'm considering this... as I'm about 45 minutes from the Badlands. I'm actually going to visit the Badlands with my TJ in two weeks to try it out. I'm taking a sick day to do so... lol!
My neighbor has a Grand Cherokee with 125k miles on it. He's never changed any of the fluids (such as differential, etc.) He just did the first full brake job on it (new everything). Interesting huh?
Like Tim said, just top off your coolant. I like to change it every three years, but I assume it's only been two years for you. Plus forget everything else.
